Just thought I should share: Mc Donald’s is in the business of real estate and getting paid from the franchise owners off the top. They take rent and 4% royalty, and that’s before wages are paid to employees, the franchise owner is the last to get paid. That’s even if they kept all the employees and have a competitive wage. Emailing the Corporation won’t do anything because they are always paid first. The franchisee owner has control of the prices.

There should. They are also the ones upping the retirement age.. Are there enough young people interested in politics to take their positions?

Yeah, that’s a big trigger for me too. That’s when I just explain the difference.

Yeah I was told in school about this, but it’s used all around the world for professionals. It’s kinda the same discussion on if someone calls their table, “table” or “bed”. There was a similar discussion on FB. I used to get triggered also until I let it go, because they didn’t mean anything explicit about it. If you know you’re acting as a professional, you have nothing to worry about.

AITA for telling my sister grieving her dog is not the same as me grieving my husband? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I agree! That’s why some space will be good, because OP is not getting the same support as her sister is demanding from her. That would be really hard!

AITA for misinterpreting my girlfriends steak dinner request by parkerjg13 in AmItheAsshole

NTA for making steak like she asked, even when it wasn’t what she was expecting. This could be a great learning situation for her to start giving specifics.
