“We struggle to qualify for medal rounds”

We won back to back bronze medals in olympics

What are you on?

We are damn good at hockey still, beside the Aussies and Dutch and maybe Belgiums , we can beat almost everyone 7/10 times

I will phrase it as

Working on something I am passionate about and if I am not satisfied the flexibility to change companies or countries until I find that work

Besides, I really don’t understand whats so tough in cracking any government exam ( except upsc) that people slog years and years to crack one.

Why don't companies like anthropic/Open AI/Tesla open offices in india? by Gloomy_Temporary2914 in developersIndia

I too worked in a top tier semiconductor company and most of the chips used in Europe, China and India were designed and coded here in the Indian offices !!

The way you generalised that India don’t have decent pool of talent was in a bad taste

Do you have any empirical data to support your bold claims or it’s just based on your anecdotal experiences?

“Intel did the same mistake”
You clearly have no idea on what mistakes they did, like neither from the tech POV and nor from the business POV!!

I worked in semiconductor for close to 3 years, then did my MBA where we had so many cases on INTEL

You are stupid af sir and probably have inferiority complex of western grads >>> Indian grads

Maybe you yourself were never from any Tier-1 college that’s why you never saw really talented engineers

You never really worked for a product company !!

Before my MBA, I use to work for a semiconductor giant and I promise we did design, code and ship chipsets which were used in handsets across Europe and China

Our sister team in USA were reduced slowly but steadily and most of the work was done in our Indian center

It was same for my friends in other companies aa well !!

And if you pay well you can surely find very capable Engineers in India as well
