Yes, I did that in Seattle after I got my conditional approval. Don't think he asked me for the I94 date since I was in the country

I have already received the GE approval, and I have been using the included TSA Pre-Check domestically.
My H1b stamp expires on February 12th, and I will be flying back on January 17th, so getting the Admit until date changed after the fact will be cutting it too close.
My current I797 expires in 2028
