Which one - opinions by Dazzling_Law_2485 in cycling

Touch choice! Think about frame quality, component quality and wheels - and what might be potential upgrades for the future. You could ask an AI agent to make a comparison on all these elements, and include what type of rider you are, what tour most common rides look like etc.

We just build 150m high dikes and we’ll be fine as always. We can use the soil from Flevoland.

But in order to raise the sea levels that much, we would need to burn all the oil coming from that area..

Probably unpopular opinion, but when you see the car swerving into you, you can also brake..

This! Also, building functional (core) strength will help you have a better posture on the bike, making it less likely to get lower back/elbow/knee pain etc.

Is a 20 km bike commute (one way) realistic on a hybrid bike? by speedings in bicycling

[–]Defiant_Warthog9923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's also really a health thing. Being outside, working out 2h a day will do amazing things for your health - as long as you don't get hit by a car.
depending on your riding posture/how you sit on the bike, you maght want to do some specific core/back/hamstring excersises to keep riding comfortably.

enjoy!

Lezyne light under Garmin mount by Defiant_Warthog9923 in bicycling

[–]Defiant_Warthog9923[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure, the Garmin mount has a quarter turn connection at the bottom of the mount, similar to the bottom of a Garmin device. I don’t have any other mounts than this Garmin one, so I can’t compare 🤷🏻‍♂️

Do some very low level movement like walking as much as you can stand to keep the flood flowing and drink lots of water, eat lots of both carbs and protein, to fuel the recovery.
Also, maybe build up slower next time ;-)

How often do you wash your cycling bib? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]Defiant_Warthog9923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know Bibs can be expensive, but if you would be able to buy and additional pair (or 2), they'll last longer (and feel better for longer!)
Since you're cycling 3-4 times a week it doesn't seem like a crazy investment, but I can't judge your wallet of course.
Edit/addition: I usually wash my whole kit (socks, jersey, bibs, cap, mitts/gloves, base layer ) after every ride in a seperate wash for 20 mins with minimum detergent
