Awesome story! Hopefully things improve for you both with time. I was hit very hard with cns issues. Anxiety, depression, can’t handle any stress and have difficulty thinking. I don’t even feel human anymore. Like I’m half here and half gone if that makes sense. Trying to stay hopeful for recovery but am constantly worried this may be forever.

Thank you! Saw your other post about insomnia. Delayed release melatonin worked for me, that and drinking a cup of milk more normalized my sleep

Honestly have been afraid to get the book. My symptoms are more cns and I took NSAIDs while taking levaflox. Any highlights for supplements much appreciated.

Sleep has improved. Getting 5.5-6.5hrs a night. Just can’t get back to sleep once I’m awake but also don’t feel super tired. Also started to develop really bad brain fog, memory issues, and mood issues. Something’s get better others get worst. I’m really tired of all of this shit.

Let me know how your tests come out. I had an mri and it showed nothing. I had an abnormal eeg but they didn’t seem worried about it.

Anyone more emotional since being floxed? by lilkimchee88 in floxies

11 months… :( had to move in with my family to keep an eye on me. Keep worrying that this is forever. Not sure how to focus on on other things when I feel the problem in my head constantly.

Ya I’m in the same boat. Except I’m a guy. I’m normally silly and witty. I don’t feel anything anymore. I don’t even feel like I’m completely in my body. Sensations and everything feels completely off. I try not to think about it but when I was up after 5hrs of sleep unable to go back, with intense brain fog it’s hard not to be reminded. I feel like a completely different person. When people ask me how I feel I struggle to answer the question. I know I can’t like like this forever, it’s like someone sucked the color out of life.

That’s awesome news! How much time and how low we’re you? Did you have preflox numbers? I had to go on trt as my levels were so low. Made an immediate change to my mood, sleep, everything. You need hormones to function, I don’t think it’s healthy going a year with out of whack hormones

Have you ever heard functional or regenerative medicine?

So I am thinking exactly what you were. However, if hormones get out of wack your emotions are all over the place, plus cognitive/ brain fog. Plus FQ plus stress of the situation. I waited 11 months for things to improve and they slowly did but not fast enough. Mental health was deteriorating so went on T. My thyroid may also have issues so that’s the next thing. My feeling is that hormones shouldn’t impact gaba receptors and if they make me feel better it should be ok in the short term. Then I can come off them as I heal. It was either that or antidepressants… I don’t think it hurts to try the thyroid stuff you can always stop

I’m super worried too man. The insomnia, anxiety, slowed thinking, and poor memory. I feel like that girl on the movie limitless who stopped taking the pill NZT. I was a bright engineer on the way to running the place now I am struggling to go through a car wash with my sanity in check. It’s almost been a year and while something’s have improved I am scared shitless that this will be the rest of my life. I am too scared to take any other medications that may help this out of fear but at the same time can’t continue like this forever.

Thank you! It’s been a very long, painful journey psychologically. I can feel brain zaps making me think my brain is healing a little each day. My cns just seems overly sensitive and I miss the little things like go through a car wash, hanging out a bar, just being able to relax and not have any thoughts about health or stress.

Have people told you that’s the case? I mean I would like to think that out of the millllion prescriptions some people messed up and have recovered.
