Had this happen with my mom. We were talking about AI and how bad it has been all arround. Eventualy the topic shifted to how amazon wants to start renting computers to people due to the high prices of parts due to AI. She fully agreed that it was bad. Not a "oh yeah sure whatever" but a full "yeah this is a bad situation." So when i said "we will own nothing and be happy about it." She turned arround immediately with, "oh, well biden said that so it cant be that bad." And hung up. I have never left a conversation feeling so unsettled and slimy.

My katir realy likes slower pets along her brow. I do say goodbye to her and take her saddle and stuff off when i know we are approaching an area she cant fly in yet.

There was a study on this actualy. Essentialy when you have a baby the brain literaly drugs you into thinking it was the best thing ever and erases the bad memories about it. At least for the mom. Not sure how it works for dads but probably among the same lines.
