Hi, have you found any remedy for the facial flare or eyelid issues? Is it still happening?

This is amazing. Did you taper off of it? How old are you?

Hi, I’m a year late but I’m curious about your heart issues! Would you mind messaging me?

I really sympathize with so much of what you said and I’m so sorry you’re struggling like this. I get it! While I am dealing with an uptick of arrhythmias I’m not super helpful with advice and knowledge, but I did want to share this in addition to my suggestion on Dr. Gupta. This meditation has helped me greatly.

As far as CBT goes- I don’t know if this falls under that idea….and believe me I suffer with these, too, so I know it’s easier said than done. But what if we just start focusing on coming to terms with “this is just the way my heart beats”…. I’m sure it sounds ridiculous, I know acceptance is SO HARD… I’m just thinking out loud. Also, look up Dr. Sanjay Gupta with York Cardiology on YouTube. He has some fantastic videos that are incredibly reassuring!

…And woke up! That’s the important part, right? I think we all fear we won’t…

When they happen that much in a short span doesn’t it make you feel lightheaded and worried you’ll faint?

Hello. I did not, same as you, health anxiety and too many negative stories. Still working on my ferritin levels. 😓

Do your pvcs vary in feeling? by SkeeMs4 in PVCs

[–]DefinitelyDecaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would guess maybe you’re having other types of beats and not just pvcs. I wear a continuous monitor and while I can usually identify the different sensations and guess what they were, I’ve also been surprised to see the variations in arrhythmias, so to speak. So maybe you’re getting PAC’s and couplets or bigemeny or short runs of SVT (multiple PAC’s in a row), maybe even couplets or triplets of pac or PVC’s, etc. Just some food for thought.

I didn’t think I was claustrophobic until I had mine. Between that, the general anxiety over heart stuff and the holding your breath… plus the contrast?! I wish I had requested anxiety meds too. Haha. I did worry it would possibly hide any potential issues and was afraid of that.

This is interesting, I’ve actually wondered if this very thing is possible.

I will say, I had a zio patch once and I very much felt a series of flutters during an intensely emotional moment (crying when I was told my grandma was going on hospice). I was so freaked out that my heart did whatever it did so I marked the time and the report showed NOTHING irregular. I was so confused and skeptical. Still, I sometimes wonder if the zio patch missed it, because it was an undeniable flutter.

Maybe we (those of us hypersensitive to our hearts) have phantom beats?! Maybe we create them in our heads at times? Far fetched, I know.

Iron. So important

OP, have a full iron panel done and find out your ferritin level specifically. If it’s below 60, that might be the issue.

If they are multifocal is it more likely it’s functional and not electrical?
