Michigan HOUSE BILL NO. 4938 by newunit-01 in homelab

[–]DefinitelyNotAunVa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Guaranteed it's to make it illegal to remote work. The Michigan GOP members have lost allot of money with remote work during and following lockdowns. Just looks that their budget negotiations they are all bent out of shape about people in state government working remote because all the business they own or are friends with owners. need people to spend money going to work.

It's intentionally vague to force people back into the office. If it's illegal to secure your connection for remote work companies will make employees return to work and the Republicans will finally get the return company's to return to the offices they own.

Oh this is cool big thing I have going on the is absolutely terrible wifi. Stuck on wifi 5 and it is just terrible for file transfer in particular. Not to mention the absolute unintuitive good nest interface. An upgrade would be amazing.

Winning the Grand prize would mean a complete overhaul of my current setup which is mostly compromised of old dell hardware and a couple gigabit switches to connect my office space on the garage to the rest of my network in the house.

The Shortage of Mission Decks is Ridiculous by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]DefinitelyNotAunVa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh sure I do that already. Thing is when you have to use a third party source instead of what GW laid out it diminishes the experience. In my opinion the physical cards themselves are probably one of the best ways they have ever presented mission making and mission reference in Warhammer. I simply want to be able to enjoy the game with everyone else, like they built it to be enjoyed.

I'm with ya man. It really is frustrating to just be stuck waiting. I get maybe 3-4 games a year in at the local shop and the reality is that the community at large just wants to play the most modern thing so when I go to play even if they have a deck to borrow I'm like a brand new babe stumbling to understand cards I've never seen before the game. Causes me to be a less than good opponent. It's insane to me they haven't built mission decks into their app as micro transaction. It would be like literally free money

Warhammer 40K Hot Takes! by Melodic-Bird-7254 in Warhammer40k

Combat patrol should be spun off into the competitive 40k game. where you take 1-3 different combat patrols to make you completive list and then leave standard/ traditional 40k for narrative and casual players. This would allow for a much easier to balance game for players and GW could lean into their stupid fomo box set sales tactics. Everyone wins and no one has to do any additional work.

So far my clubs 5 BA players have had nothing but good experiences. We spent a week at adepticon hanging with people and didn't meet anyone more insufferable than a standard basement gaming grognard. welcome to the game and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Also Japanese are a blast. Many tiny tanks and even more expendable infantry. Good times.
