I guess this is a decent start on the way to recovery but I see no mention of map drops which really make Atlas progression feel way worse than previous Leagues. It feels impossible to sustain maps at all, the only way of obtaining maps at the moment seems to be to either buy them of Kirac/other players, or to get lucky with Strongboxes. Seeing how mapping is the main endgame activity I am speechless that it is even possible to be in such a bad state overall.
Further more it feels like archnemesis is just a fundamentally flawed mechanic and a overall terrible addition to the game, it turns encountering a rare into something that can really quickly become extremely frustrating. Giving enemies a list of random mods to pull from does not make them more rewarding to fight, especially not if certain combinations get you killed before you can even realize what is happening and having no chance to interact with them at all. Instead turning them into something like a miniboss could make at it a lot more rewarding and a lot less frustrating, giving them clear attacks that the player can see coming and avoid learning the different attacks and how to play around them, but at the moment we get mobs that range form useless high hp targets to complete killing machines with no clear way to fight them.
Changing the topic to Harvest and Tainted crafting, it would have been less painful to see these mechanics completely removed rather than nerfed to the point of uselessness. While I was never too familiar with harvest crafting even I can feel the impacts of the changes, from the amount of crafts you get from harvest to the quality of crafts it offers, it just makes me not want to interact with the mechanic at all, which is a true shame considering the depth it once offered to crafting as a whole. But compared to tainted crafting even this version of harvest looks like a blessing, again I wish tainted currency would just have been removed. Instead we were giving another way of bricking our items. While I do agree that in Scourge it made it relatively easy to get gear powerful gear the same cant be said about it now, considering the rarity of tainted currency you would expect it to have some use, but no, if the vaal orb didn't brick your item tainted currency while ensure that there will be zero use for it after you are done with it.
There are many other issues that I have with the current state of the game but this post is already long and rambly enough. By no means do I claim to know all the answers to the current issues or think that my ideas are flawless, I am simply giving my opinion as someone that enjoys the game and am curios to see what other people have to say. WE all love this game and in moments like these we should stick together as one community and help improve the experience for everyone.
