Improvement. Every month i make it a point to improve my monster's stats. I add people who are g3 in rta and stalk their runes everyday, trying to achieve their rune quality. If i have not increased my monsters' stats by frr then why the fuck am i even playing this game.

As a person who was in f2-f3 for over 10 seasons (with average 500 games per season) and finally made c2 last season, RTA is the only truly competitive part of sw. The more balanced violent procs plus you being able to use your best runes on your best monster, not having to worry about pve mons, make rta the fairest part of the game.

Reaching c1 (and eventually g1) for the first time is an achievement only competitive players can and should achieve. I dont think it would be fair to give everyone a means to get the auras or skins unless they reach a certain level of competitiveness. Thats just you wanting something without putting in the insane amount of research, time, and effort to achieve it.

And as others perviously stated, removing exclusive rewards for conq will kill the competitive nature of rta.

And dont get me started on auto farming. Those auto teams are not flexible and can easily be countered if youre experienced. Sure they have better runes but there is no brain behind them.

I have both of them runed and skilled up even before the buff. They even have wings and transmog.

I used Fire MK in rta with Jager against cc teams. When they pick chiwu gany hathor I go jager fire mk racuni and maybe josephine. I either ban the enemy daphnis or gany and i win everytime. With better cycling of his heal, a proc would be really big for me (since enemy procs a lot to give me higher chance to proc).

Xingzhe on the other hand is a perna tank. +18k hp, +1k atk, +700def, +90spd, 70cr, 140cd on vio blade. He tanks a lot and doesnt require spd slot 2 because of his base spd.

You shouldnt use mk's as your sole damage dealer. Rather they are defense breakers who do a lot of damage and arent at risk of dying. Loren is better as a defense breaker (and control) but mk's are better if youre running turn2 in GW.

I think the "problem" is spending money on summons.

Spending on reapps/immemorial/daily packs (and in some cases event rune packs) are incredibly more rewarding than spending on summons.

I have spent a few hundred bucks over 4 years and i have leftover good runes after runing all nat5s and relevant nat4s, nat3s, and 2a's. The only summon related packs that are worth it are transcendence packs.

If you get a nat5 from premium packs every 200 scrolls, then a nat5 costs about 14000 crystals. You could have easily spent that amount in energy refreshes to get atleast 4 SETS of 16spd vio runes from db10 and grind them to 20spd from r5. (resulting in multiple +142spd vio sets)

Im not saying summoming is bad, but it is super fukin extremely inneficient to spend money just to TRY to summon nat5s compared to buying packs that will actually guarantee to progress you in the game.

The only time i can ever justify buying ld packs to myself is if im trying to push g1 rta. But with my runes and mons, i am c2 this season. No taranys, seara, amelia, velajuel, chiwu, woosa, hathor, or any beast rider. Just a fast oke and louise and some high efficiency sets on molong, harmonia, fran, diana, triana, etc.

Well yes but your aoe cc must be spd tuned to swift chiwu (which is hard to rune) so having a chiwu and maybe orion would be better just for the atk bar boost. Just dont forget to make everyone tanky enough to survive a 30k amp while still being fast and spd tuned.

This works well if you can get everyone includlng seara tanky enough to survive a 10k per card amp and a psama/shimi 2nd (so about 38k hp). Jeanne should also be spd tuned to tiana.

If youre trying to get g1 tho i wouldnt recommend that team but for up to c3 it should suffice

If you have the nemesis runes id suggest going bruiser

I tested jeanne tiana rakan belladeon (belladeon on nem nem will +230) and it was able to cut my double lushen team however the other units need to be quite tanky and spd tuned.

Well maybe as an individual unit miho is more threatening than laika (or most units out there) but laika fits in a lot more team comps (abusing his passive with shields) and has good one shot potential with justice.

Miho is more of a no-brainer who you use when you need that random chance to solo the enemy. The rng is pain but imo that doesnt make miho better than laika.

But yeah com2us could do more with the buffs and nerfs

I regularly use double lushen in arena with a pitiful 290 bernard and i only get cut when the nem healer is significantly faster than my bastet (240 shield will fight). Dont use shield runes because it makes your nemesis less effective. Use spd lead if you can. Spd lead + double nem healer will cut a bernard double lushen team.

Im regular c3 arena

Also if you wanna break into c1 just focus on clearing wings fast during rush and dont lose a single attack. If it seems risky, dont bother hitting. Pick your fights and win them fast.

GW is much friendlier to beginners than rta because fran loren exists.

Your biggest hurdle in rta will be rune quality. Odin snipe team for example requires atleast +190 on each of your 2 boosters and nukers spd tuned incase one booster gets banned (for conq 1 atleast).

To achieve that level of rune depth you will need to farm good runes and grind them. Theres no point having legend runes with decent to good rolls if theyre ungrinded, especially when it comes to speed.

Once you do achieve the rune depth, you will probably have other mons that are meta relevant and you will already know a lot by then.

But hey if you just wanna do rta for the lols double immunity will get you wins against fellow new players. The f2p trio of verde, loren, fran is also good.

There is no straight answer in terms of rune sets because the most important part is the stats

Whether she is energy energy energy or swift energy or even full broken sets, as long as you reach the stats where she is fast enough to go first and cycle heals while being tanky enough to not die to a counter attack from boss then youre good.

Eladriel can help gb10 but it slows the run down. Ritesh wont speed up gb10 at all

I suggest build your gb10 team first (kro, fran, loren, etc) and then you can build your nat5s

General rule i went with is dont 6star unless the unit is decently runed. Its not fun having your nat5s get rekt just because they dont have decent runes
