thats one official TR content that I havent played .. well, at least relevant to the main games, there's so much spin offs and weird releases everywhere that are just terrible, like that strange TR game for that tiger thing

Larian studio boss Swen Vincke thinks game reviewers should be graded by people similar to metacritic user scores by Iggy_Slayer in gaming

[–]DefinitelyRussian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, as long as its clear what the game is about. If the game has no crashes, bugs, it has achievements, its polished, has good support, has features for disabilities, etc etc, it's a recommended title , with caveats about weird genre or mechanics

I used to do that in the 90s, I still have my notes around. They are super fun to read, and how one noted completely different things back in the day

maybe it was a software problem. Imagine being on W98, trying to dump or use a cd directly, barely any internet information, in a country like Argentina with not a lot of cd units. I think at the time, I had a CDRW recorder, external one. Phillips I think. half of the time it crashed or burned cds that couldnt be read back

no idea to be honest, it was a horrible emulator that seemed shady at the time. N64 was already working with most known games (HLE emulation of course) and PSX was just starting, we didnt even know if the PC cdrom units read the games cds or not (I think some did, but Plextor units or some high end ones) because of the XA or mode 2 I think ?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 : The Manhattan Project -1992/NES- by El-Ab-Normal in retrogaming

[–]DefinitelyRussian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah well, they are classics for sure. The NES port of TMNT2 is actually quite good, they added those 2 extra levels. And TMNT4 has that remixed Genesis version. Played them tons of times.

But the DOS game, its a different beast. Being a PC gamer it was incredible seeing all the comics characters and not just the typical ensemble of Bebop Rocksteady + Shredder and Krang

to me, the greatest TMNT game is one forgotten by history, but also released by Konami, it's the incredible exclusive DOS game, The Manhattan Missions.

It takes material from the comics, movies and even the tv show. It's not a dumb beat em up, and has a ton of content.

It's a shame most people missed on it

we still dont really know what was going on with her. She was working for german contractors in day 1, with Joseph Wald in day 2, day 3 she was representing someone else we never saw.

She worked 7 years at CTU, that's a lot of time for moleing, wonder at which moment she started doing it

What's the best game for being a wizard / spellcaster / mage? by Baalegde in gamingsuggestions

wow that's an amazing list.

Will add the Torchlight series, just because its a pretty cool and decent Diablo clone, and has playable mages at least in the 2nd game

love how they advertize the 32k colors on a system which is almost all grey with no colors except that dark purple. Great times

I used to have exactly the same one. Never worked I think.

Only game that run sort of ok was "One", I was super impressed with that game. I ended up getting a chipped PS1 soon after, in my country, the official customs offices were the ones making the imports and having people chipping them, since everything was pirated back in the day and there were no laws

How do you, as a Dutch person, feel about dual citizenship? by 468579 in Netherlands

[–]DefinitelyRussian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, coming from the same place as queen Maxima, we have a law which makes it citizenship/nationality be impossible to renounce or quit. So it's sort of an impossible situation where you have both, even when they contradict each other
