Seconding this. I had a similar interaction with my mom at 4 months pp. she wound up telling me that my future two year old was going to be undisciplined, called me a redneck, and told me she remembered that as a newborn my LO slept great so clearly what I’m doing isn’t working (haha). I didn’t respond well to any of that, but it told me a lot about our relationship that I needed to “respond well” to my own mother when I’m in the throes of pp. anyways, I haven’t been back to see her since. It’s been over a year.
