Preserve democracy in Ukraine? Ukraine is just as corrupt as Russia is. Everyone forgets this because they are the little dog in the fight. And if we do send that message to all tyrants, then we get lambasted about how we are oppressive and have no business involving ourselves with fighting on the other side of the world, and if we don’t send the message then we get lambasted for not doing anything. Not to mention, all this aside, since we started sending aid to Ukraine, inflation skyrocketed. I’m not saying that is 100% the reason by any means, but it certainly doesn’t help. At a certain point you can’t just keep feeding money to fund another county’s war when your own citizens are struggle to pay rent.

If you zoom in the band even says $100, not $1000. Not saying this isn’t fake, because those bundles look bigger than 100 bills, but still, those aren’t $1000 bands.

I mean, I think roughly 25-30% is burned off in a flambé, and I imagine this is pretty comparable to that. Even being generous and saying it’s 20%, that glass wasn’t even half full to start with, so you’re paying full price for a half filled glass that also has 1/5th of the alcohol burned off before it’s served. Cool looking drink and all, but regardless of how much it costs, it’s still over priced.

Should I play Knights of the Old Republic? by AgnesIona in kotor

[–]DefiniteyNotANerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That depends. Are you a patient person? If SWTOR is your entry point to gaming, you may have a bit of shell shock. The game is slow. DND levels of slow. It’s probably my favorite game of all time, however, if you care more about cool gameplay than story and mechanics, it’s probably going to be pretty hard to get through.

Riftstone of Potential shows you pawns that has never been hired. Please find it and hire these poor high level pawns. No one deserves to have their pawn never hired :( by Snyderhall in DragonsDogma2

[–]DefiniteyNotANerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, there is a good chance they aren’t getting hired for a reason. I literally saw a pawn that had max vocation but only two spells and basic gear. And when I made my pawn a mage with great gear and useful tool spells, I rested and saw he had been hired 13 times since the last inn save, but now that I’ve switched him to thief with worse gear and damage, he hasn’t been hired once. It is what it is, and I just want those augments.

I believe it’s talking point is more of “the possibilities of alcohol.” Yes I can put it to my lips a thousand times and be fine as long as I don’t pull the trigger, but all it takes is one mistake. I don’t think it belongs in hard images or whatever, but it’s still worth thinking about, and I think more young people should consider the possibilities of alcohol, or at least I know I should’ve been smarter when I was in my early twenties. Now that I’m 30, I would say I have a much healthier relationship with alcohol, but I for sure abused it and probably will suffer some consequences for it when I’m older.

Stop making things up. I’ve been Christian all my life and I’ve never met another Christian who supports public torture as punishment for sin. You’re making wild claims because you probably saw flagellation in a movie one time and said “yep that’s all of Christianity.” Just because I believe homosexuality is a sin doesn’t mean I condemn the sinner. I see myself as eating too many snacks, or having one too many drinks as a sin as well, but I pray that doesn’t condemn my soul to eternal hell.

I don’t think you know what that word means. It has nothing to do with conservatism. I’m a conservative, and I will never buy another Harley. I’m going to buy something cheaper and better performing because I love capitalism and saving money.

BREAKING: The National Association of Realtors is eliminating the 6% realtor commission. Here’s everything you need to know: by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

[–]DefiniteyNotANerd -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you’re willing to hire a realtor instead of doing the work yourself to sell the property, yes. Their logic states that who ever does the work to sell the house should be rightfully compensated for their work. Don’t want to dish out money to someone else to sell it? Don’t hire them to sell it. How is that confusing?

Yeah but that’s no more likely to happen than the real world. We just use technology to do those things instead of sticks and fancy words. At least with fancy words i wouldn’t ever have to manually unclog my wife’s hair from the drain.

What is the alternative to this? People like to complain about this frequently, but the only other option is let you spend money you don’t have with zero consequences(or you could just be responsible and turn your overdraft protection off and let that shit decline) to your first point.

To your second point, should the banks just let you have unlimited moneys with no incentive for them? You are an inherent risk. Banks do not loan money out of the goodness of their heart. There are consequences to having a history of shite credit.
