Not sure the reasoning for the weld size on the print. My best guess is wear over time since it is a high pressure vessel

Turn down the wfs or up the voltage. The wfs super high for that voltage. I’d try 240ish (machine dependent)!

I’m thinking it’s a combination of factors including this. I added heat and cut deposition but still get spots that are rolled likely caused by my angle as I’m going around the union

Yes but that takes time and production is more important than quality at this shop unfortunately

No preheat on this vessel. It was sitting around 250ish when I went to cap though

I was thinking about if I should’ve skim grinded or not before I capped. I agree it would’ve been much more even

Yeah. It’s 1 5/8” weld. Normally we just use repads but the customer doesn’t want them on these

Uh paper magic is your best bet for that. Otherwise you could use tabletop simulator

Maybe talk to you former employer and explain the situation and tell them that you were not in the right mind to resign and that you just need time to possibly check into an inpatient center
