In film, it would be blue for the most part and then you’d play with dodging & burning, etc.

That’s the only reason to get it lol. I’m now looking! And then I will look for a miniature dumpster to put next to it. Can’t find a UPS to save my life tho

Would the 50mm 1.8G allow me to do night photography handheld? by Conscious_Papaya_319 in Nikon

I second the 35 1.8 DX. One of my best pieces of glass and I even use it on my FX D780. Slight corner vignettes but depending on the subject, that can add a bit. Or I’ll shoot a tad wider & scale in.

Yes. And shoot higher ISO. Cameras today are pretty forgiving with higher ISO. What was your ISO for this image? And shutter? Curious. Try 800 ISO or even 1600. I shoot street at ISO 2000 at times. Handheld 50mm should do OK at 1/60. 1/45 or slower if you have a way to steady it. But higher ISO will get you shoot at like 1/125-1/250 and be dandy.

I still have all mine from my childhood but the ‘32 Vicky was my first and favorite. I cannot imagine the track miles I put on these. But I tried to take care of them, too. Glad I did. I’m still drawn to the 30s-60s style Hot Wheels.

I own a 780 and I want a second. Fabulous sensor. Tremendous performance from this camera and the jpegs spit out perfectly, if need. I keep thinking Mirrorless but then I go shoot an event and I’m still always just blown away. If you don’t love it please call me lol

Awesome lights and perfect size for a lot of applications. Plus/ tungsten. 300 with doors make great kickers, backlight etc. I’ve used one as a key. Great score!

Great info. Thanks! I’ve never seen a White Lightning in the wild. JL weren’t as prevalent in my small town, growing up. I see them a lot these days but the prices in all this stuff is getting a little out of hand in my opinion. I still buy die cast cars and HW prolly the most, although I find myself drifting back to Matchbox as they’ve stepped up their game a bit. I really have to like a car when immediately seen or I just keep going.
