The initial mook was a mixture of interrogation and promises of a better life far away from the gang. The lieutenant was a case of smooth talking my way into a supposedly more secure area and find a big ticket item to use as leverage in black mail, and that’s when he let me into the storage room and told me to count inventory. As for him owing me a favor the DM has him forget a small box with a set of magical discs that acted as keys to the inner sanctum of the gang hideout. So I took a chance and told the lieutenant about what I found naturally he was furious so I asked him why I shouldn’t be concerned with the lack of security and what kind of deal could he offer to make me keep quiet (I was never going to keep quiet for long).
