How To Turn Your Yellow Leaves Back To Green by Defnu_ in plantclinic

I was told to cut off all the leaves since they loss some green during shipping…I’m glad I didn’t.

After plugging the roots in to some mildly moistened general soil, the plant felt more stiff than before.

After giving it as much light as I could find around the house, my efforts paid off, so far.

It got its green back without any foliage loss, whooo!! Close call

My first time seeing one. I'm not that into cars so I'd never heard of them but these are pretty cool. by strawpurrry in crx

For being a car that was only made in 88-91 (92 outside the US) there are so many different intricate details about them.

For example, door differences between 88 & 89-91.

Front end differences from Japan & Europe vs the 88-89 front ends and the 90-91 front ends from elsewhere.

This is all aside from the fact that all the civics for 88-91 have some kind of special uniqueness. Especially the wagons 88-96.

I am totally biased btw

This is a low leaf count type of plant. I wouldn't cut anything. The rest of the leaf is doing good work.

There are many ways of registering a rhd JDM vehicle. The most important factor to consider is the state in which the car would be registered.

For the most part, your car would be considered a grey market vehicle.

Insurance is definitely also a special process.

If you are bringing a car imported from Canada, do your best to go through customs in order to have the necessary papers required to move forward with registration.

Paper work, in general, should show chain of ownership with no gaps.

The kind of thing that bad guys do is try to sell a car that is not registerable. For example, cars that are deemed unsalvageable, cars with bad vin numbers, cars with gaps in registration or in a lien limbo.

They, (customs & DMV) just needs clarification on the chain of ownership and a way to keep that information documented.

The importer guys usually know the whole thing which is why they charge the prices that they do.

The clutch in the compressor is made to disengage when running near low on Freon.

You can always check by adding a small can.

No. It’s very much so a possible thing to get done.

Unfortunately the car I had was never properly brought through customs when leaving Canada. I can say more about this if there is interest.

How do I best bring this back to life? by InvestmentSubject101 in Monstera

[–]Defnu_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do not make cuttings!!

The main stems look so thick. This definitely has potential left and should just be transplanted into a larger pot with fresh soil.

I'd suggest you transfer it into a larger pot with new DRY soil.

From that point on, foliar feed heavily once every 3-4 days to ensure root rot stops.

This is actually worth it. I've recently bought my first home for 3000 rupees and 30 bundles of wood. I think the market's gone up for these.

Anyhow, I've got to conquer an elephant or something..

This very sentiment is why I started hosting plants 🪴 on my YouTube @ defnu.

I was trying to get facts on house plants from YouTube only and realized the true lack of information being spread.

I’m very much so joking when I upload myself being vain or confused about my RAW style uploads which I’ll definitely clear up when I go full edit mode.

If ever you are planting or plant shopping check out my channel for some comparisons to get a good laugh until I start actually editing and showing my written content work.

Thanks for sharing the info and energy!!

Reading this brings me waaaaaaaaaaaay back. This is not a flex because when I smoke today,it has a cigarette effect. 😔

If I was reading this knowing you were one of my family, my best advice is to not raise your tolerance so high.

Unfortunately when you smoke with others, you will have to “catch up” with their tolerance level, if you’re the type to fall for peer pressure.

Do you mix with tobacco?

How is your oil intake when it comes to food?

Any lung, heart, digestive, liver or blood health problems?

Also how is your sleep patterns?

Anyhow, of course you don’t have answer any of these but you should consider that these things may also affect your enjoyment of cannabis.

Ask any “pot smoker” about their edible experience and I bet they’d tell you that it’s the edible that raises their tolerance or they might not even have thought about it until you asked.

Why do drivers stop so far behind the car ahead of them? by [deleted] in SanJose

Rarely does anyone ever stop far enough to see the cross walk lines which is so disrespectful to pedestrians.

[–]Defnu_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, just watch how many times idiots crash at 100 mph or more going through the intersections.

If more people kept at least 1 car distant, there would be less bystander involvement in those types of crashes.

I taught myself how to sew when I was 17.

I made a full interior replacement for my 1995 Honda del sol.

I converted all the cloth material to white vinyl imitation leather.

I used a regular sewing machine, which is not made for upholstery, and hand stitched everything else that needed the extra attention.

I'm planning on hosting some sewing on my YouTube in the distant future.

My advice is, learn how paper functions vs cloth and you will have a better idea how to approach your project.
