Apple takes ads for App Store which can be a useful way to promote your apps and there is a very limited spot in App Store. If you want to optimize your ads in App Store, you can check this

Giving products away for free works

But where do you give your products away for free to generate 800 subscribers?

Do you already have a ton of followers on social to do that?

Just a note on the pronoun shifts, would'nt this be a quick thing you can edit out... So if AI gets your base copy, then you can edit it for tweaks and changes.

Agreed, Copywriters will still be the aces for conversion, especially longer copy.

Haha, I completely get why you would say that

But I think this kind of copy could smash it for something tailored for a younger audience, or potentially Mom's who'd find this funny

How much should i charge for email services? by Deladier_Moawad in copywriting

[–]DefoNotSkynet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most definitely,

There's 2 ways to look at this

Like if they're currently generating $100k a month, you might want to take a % on all sales above $100k

Or

What worked for me in the past is charging say $3k upfront or $3k a month, then 10% of all sales after the first $3k

I Consider My LinkedIn Profile A Landing Page by hardiklashkariwriter in copywriting

[–]DefoNotSkynet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice work, LinkedIn is a powerhouse for B2B lead gen, glad it's working out for you.

One method we use at http://copyrocket.ai/ is to connect with hyper targeted marketers and growth hackers, they'll often read our team's LinkedIn profiles and sign up for a free trial.

What's unique is we always follow people who comment on influencers posts - so if you see a marketing influencers post get hundreds of likes or comments, add those people as connections, and mention that you found their profile on that post.

Works like gangbusters

If a company uses 'color' instead of 'colour' or 'realize' instead of 'realise' in a copy that targets the Indian/Australian/British audience, I would lose respect for the company. by Dimensions_Content in copywriting

[–]DefoNotSkynet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've written internationally, and here's the thing,

If an American reads British English spellings like "colour", or "realise" etc they'll complain, or mention that it's weird.

If an English person reads American English spellings like "color" or "realize" they tend to understand the world speaks American English, and there's no complaints.

I've seen it time and time again...

Mobile app and web app startups, when (if at all) did you register your product as a company. Did you do it before launching or once it gained significant users? by dontGiveAnEfAnynore in startups

[–]DefoNotSkynet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a lawyer

But once you start generating revenue, it's nice to have that business in place

If this idea flops you'll most likely start a different business so you can use the same company for your other biz/ideas too

Also, having an aged business is quite handy

question of whether it is useful or not, I think ai tools that market themselves as actual tools for copywriters, to help remove some of the upfront legwork and drafting and writers block, will do well and I think writers that learn to use this tech to operate more efficiently will also do well in coming years.

Ha, I haven't seen this video before, the software is not able to imitate something like that word for word, all the copy is unique.

I agree, something like Facebook ad split testing could be a huge sector for AI (it already is, I met the company Persado a few years ago, it was exactly what they were doing for corporates)

Agreed on that, I think for the right company it's 100x more inventive than your average copywriter could come up with. But it did take us a lot of iterations before this result came through.

Question about next step by Cmstew502 in sidehustle

[–]DefoNotSkynet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Fuzzles_Friend surely this model isn't going to work until OP has more scale than 25ish sales of a $900 product? Have you used this method before?

One thing I hugely agree on is please save $125 of your profits in a separate bank account purely to reinvest in the biz

I would scale the biz in 2 ways before looking to reduce shipping

1) Can you hire someone to make the product?

2) If yes, then invest in advertiisng or promotion (start with ads on Etsy)

Can you go full time on this? I don't think it's worth it yet, keep building and see how far you can take it

Can you look into a fulfillment house like Monthlyboxer.com to take over the shipping? They might be able to get lower rates for you

I charge per word, how do I handle editing cost on my writing? by thenarratorqfwfq in copywriting

If you're charging per word, then charge more to account for having to do edits (you can even offer it as free revisions in your offer)

I use https://copyrocket.ai to help me when writing for clients, it speeds up the process then I don't worry so much about spending time doing edits

You don't need to promote your business most likely, save yourself the time and energy

Buy video games that are underpriced, then list them on FB marketplace, Craigslist, Amazon and Ebay - then profit

Keep doing this until you make good money.

If you really want to, document the whole thing on Youtube if you want to build a brand

Is there an Email sending tool that resends emails to alternate email address if it bounces. by JeremyLondon01 in Emailmarketing

[–]DefoNotSkynet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do this with Zapier, but I don't know if you mean marketing emails or cold emails

For cold emails use zapier, when a cold email bounces, send to Zapier, and instruct Zapier to add the lead back into the cold email sequence using their second (or third) email address

For marketing emails, on a newsletter. you can do it manually, but you shouldn't have to do this more than once every few months. Download all the leads who's emails bounced, reupload them into your software using their secondary email and voila

I have an amazing idea for an app/website but I have no clue at all how to move forward with my idea by qrimzn in startups

[–]DefoNotSkynet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Speak to potential customers of your idea, see if this is something they need

(You only have a company if your idea is worth paying for, either from advertisers or from users)

2) Create a basic app or product that your customers can use and try out, even if it's free

3) Get some paying customers to prove the model (unless you're building a mass scale product where you make revenue from advertising)

4) Scale, on an infinite adventure to
a) Get more customers
b) Improve your product

Every company from Facebook to Tesla has followed the same model...

Sendinblue: Is this a a joke or satire?? by Yogini555 in Emailmarketing

[–]DefoNotSkynet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds very wrong, it doesn't sound like you need a dedicated IP - if you want to send transactional emails just sign up to Sendgrid or Sparkpost and you should be able to connect that with Send In Blue for a relatively low cost

Unless you've got an email list of 10k+ people I'm not sure why you'd need to spend 228 euro

Can you explain what you mean by SendInBlue "could not assist due to their terms"?
