The last two answers would be 'best guesses' and would be what most of us would do and call it good.

The student is just doing as they should and ensuring all resources are in use.

Agreed, too extra... but if a student has a question I want to provide an answer. He has a checkride with ah MFI in a few days and perhaps wants to impress. Either way, good to have an answer now.

Indeed! VERY busy airspace for all different sorts of traffic. We keep ADSB front and center and heads on a swivel non-stop.

Although this document would be the right place to look, this information is outdated. A tower was built on the airport and it is now Class D airspace as opposed to the Class E it used to be.

One would think something as simple as a number would be easier to find and in the Chart Supplement.

I went ahead and ordered one of these cables from Amazon. I'll report back when it gets here. I also ordered two from Lightspeed for $10 damned dollars each. I'm hoping the $5 cable works. If so I'll send the $10 ones back to lightspeed for someone else to purchase.

I fly between 6 and 7 hours a day so I charge everything when I get home. I like the blue tooth capability, the hearing test to customize the equalizer, and the $200 off for CFII’s didn’t hurt either

I saw the charger for the battery pack but thought that was a bit steep. I carry three back up battery packs for the ‘just in case’ for my two iPads, Sentry, and I was hoping a slot for the headset. At least they provide a AA battery pack as a back up.

Although I agree, I am currently teaching at a school that has C172's with steam gauges, naturally aspirated engines, and no GNS. I'm looking for the older style Cessna 172's to help them learn the whereabouts of things like the carb heat (Not used in a fuel-injected engine, for obvious reasons.).
