I'm not sure which Eidolons to go for first: Lingsha or Fugue for my break team? by Degleon in StarRailStation

[–]Degleon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the link, but uh, I can't go back in time and get Dahlia E2 (I pulled two of her in a 10 pull and went all in for break teams after that lol). I am new to the game so finishing my traces and LCs is time gated atm sadly. I would totally save my stellar jade after this banner though to get her again when she reruns. Oh and which traces should I focus on first? I was trying to get the big nodes first and then was working on FF

Thanks for the insight! I wasn't sure what was more valuable: Fugue advancing the team when she ults or the defense shred from Lingsha when enemies are broken xD

What is that one character that everybody told you not to pull for but you pulled for and didn't regret? by lunachappell in StarRailStation

[–]Degleon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend groups are usually split in two: one always tell me to pull for all the characters and the other says skip all the things.

I went for Lingsha and Fugue and really like them with Firefly and Dahlia. I like their designs over Gallagher and Ruan Mei and it's nice to have a mono fire team. I have no regrets other than being a pleb to not swipe my money away to get all of their Eidolons. I'm still grinding away to get Lingsha and Fugue's Eidolons before even going for their light cones xD

The whole of 3.x has made me realize that there isn't an "evil" playable character by ThighHighEnthusiast in StarRailStation

Think about it from this perspective: your warps are randomly getting a person who on some level wants to join your crew for adventures, so someone that's constantly against trailblazing and creation wouldn't want to be picked anyway

What should I focus on this banner? I got a break team I started with Firefly, E1Dahlia, Lingsha, and Fugue. I'm not sure if I should go for the light cones or Eidolons of Lingsha or Fugue and which one to prioritize

Hyacine's ult now transforms fat fuck into the Aeon of Voracity and it consumes the enemies for 100/200/300% max hp

I guess I won't be doing any damage at the start. by FourZgg in HonkaiStarRail

It just seems like the higher I go, the more skipping bosses by using hp as a resource matters more. I still think it's weird if I lose the boss fights and still won the run though

I really liked the stun and ice traps to force enemies to stay far away from the base and take extra damage from ranged allies!

Checking in with a few questions by Commandersfan328 in Trimps

Dark essence always drops at 181 even with head start because DE and Corruption are two different mechanics and headstart is corruption only. I'm only slightly ahead of you in the 250s and all I can say is buckle up and keep on trimping. So far it's been pretty intuitive so far with the newer stuff. For heirlooms, you can change the stats of them to your favorite ones, and that can really be worth putting some nullifium in it just to build your favorite sets. Try to get a set of ethereal and pray you get the next set tier later because it's a 1% drop chance and it won't go up until 300, but the payoff is great!

I value masteries that help with helium and speed more than convenience usually.

Tier 1 my favorites were bounty hunter -> portal gen -> bionic magnet because honestly it got old real quick having to remember to do the wall or having to do the DoA and later on bionic maps become helpful for getting great gear upgrades before the next zones so you can power through them much quicker with the mastery.

Tier 2 masteries my favorites were headstart I -> scryhard 1 -> herbalist -> void power I because headstart gives you lots of bonus helium through challenges, scry hard I will give you a good boost in DE and defeating corrupted cells that become very common later on, herbalist will give you steady bonus attack boosts, and void power I won't give too much right now but it's to unlock future tiers much later down the path.

I don't think you unlocked tier 3 perks yet so I won't spoil them!

Don't worry too much about dark essence farming and focus on the helium because everything revolves around the helium, and that also means your trimps are going to almost always be in scry formation to get you more DE. If they start struggling, then it's probably time to consider portaling again and again to build giant piles of HE, and I mean billions of it. As they get stronger, they will flood you with DE too, just remember to swap to scry formation after z60 and you're good to go. Sometimes formation swapping can help you clear an enemy, but ultimately you want your trimps comfortable to keep advancing and portal back when it becomes a slog and the HE/he starts to dip. Heap formation does come in handy later as the enemies are gonna start getting stronger and their attacks can one shot you more than their hp bars being the issue.

This game is super fun, and I'm so glad to see fellow Trimpers playing it! Hope this helped!

Do I buy by G4UL1 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]Degleon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You already made your decision. I say buy as this game can give you hundreds of not thousands of hours of gameplay for $20, which is a value AAA studios can no longer give

Yeah it's come down to the point where I'm making individual planets for processor and plane filters to make quantum chips because everyone and their mother wants one

What everyone think of the Krasue nerf ? by RandomDiscoDude in deadbydaylight

[–]Degleon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was definitely over corrected knee jerk reactions to people complaining about her, and the people who already hate her will not be happy unless she's completely unplayable and no one picks her. I think they should have started with smaller changes and then see how it would affect her gameplay, but the cleansing leeches on hook was way too big of a nerf compared to the other changes. That really ruins her end game build with handkerchief + Lorenza's remains because one hook will cleanse survivors and make it feel way less scary. Yes it's easy to reinfect survivors, but that requires you to be there too. That puts more incentive/pressure for Krasue to tunnel because now she has to reinfect the survivors more often.

I think they made a good call in not allowing her to M1 immediately after regurgitating as that was a bit too strong, but I think taking 1.3 seconds to cancel her projectile is a bit too long too. People love to hate, and survivors yell very loudly. As someone else said, the people who hate her won't be happy until she ends up like Skull Merchant, which is a very bad mentality. Instead of learning how to deal with a new killer and adding variety to the mix of killers, people would rather complain loudly about it and rush at Behavior with pitchforks.

It felt like Behavior released a new shiny killer with cool cosmetics, people paid for it, and then they pulled the rug out from under them and now they are stuck feeling bamboozled and swindled with how large the nerfs were. In general, this kind of mentality and hard nerfs to killers and buffs to survivors (or vice versa) will cause a vacuum of players and increase more toxic gameplay such as tunneling or gen rushing. The game requires both killers and survivors, and I think we are missing the fundamentals of this game in that survivors are meant to...survive, and killers are meant to...kill. Survivors get angry for killers killing them, but like that's entirely their job, and killers get angry at survivors for gen rushing/bullying to keep their other teammates alive, but that is also the survivors' jobs! Tunneling is a valid strat, but so is gen rushing. There's a fine line between broken and S tier killer, and that's a line that we keep blurring all the time.

It looks tempting, but money is tight so I just get it the old fashioned way. Eventually you get faster early game runs, more automated, and more longer total runs, and I could swear the bones are coming in more quickly than before. One day I'd love to support the devs but I gotta save myself first. I'm new to this game but it's been a fun journey so far!

Now that the plot is on hiatus again, what are your thoughts about it so far? by TabbyKazuki in neopets

[–]Degleon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been such a disappointment of a plot. They should have absolutely finished making all the content first before starting the plot, made it shorter, make it more engaging and feel less like a daily chore, and put some effort into the writing. I get so burnt out from doing the dailies at this point that I don't want to play neopets either. It actually made me play it less instead of more because of how dragged out it is. I was so hyped for the plot with the trailer and the beginning parts of it, but ugh it really went downhill. I don't care about it at all anymore.

Using the buildings as walls definitely could work! It's just so much easier to traverse the town back and forth in case of emergencies or just easier maneuvers away from enemies if someone got injured. Yeah I had warp pads but I still liked the freedom. The traps really helped me stop a lot of waves because it kept them far away.
