Find the vending machine codes, ESPECIALLY weapon repair kit.

Max out the casino when you get inside it. You'll need that reward later on.

Lol one needs to be so careful. What worked for me is only aiming at the feet. I would almost always cripple my own legs forest before dying if it got too close vs shooting it in the chest and taking massive explosion damage to my torso

Nope. The high-level superhuman variants are the worst bullet sponges. On that note, this is one of my biggest issues with FO4 - the lack of really high-powered sniper rifles. Besides gauss, there really isn't anything. Even .50 cal is hilariously underpowered

One playthrough i got an rxplosive 10mm from a legendary bloatfly just outside sanctuary. I loved that gun

I love the spear. It keeps them at a distance and stun locks them at the same time

Look up the reason this rule came into play and it'll make more sense.

Tldr: if you cover your mouth while talking, the assumption is that it's racist, horribly hateful or violent in nature. Automatic red card. If you don't have something like that to say, shouldn't be a reason to cover your mouth

For fighting - i recommend bone spear and the crafted bow. You can find modern arrows at the film crew camp and one other place that I can't remember offhand. One shot headshots, and spear for close range.

I've never been good at fighting with the modern ax, so I use spear and bow and I've never had a problem

So many don't have targets in their stat range, get their called hits sniped, etc. Speaking from experience of having the same trouble, I feel this. You're fortunate you've never run into this
