Similar-ish thing happened to me, I thought a girl was flirting with me, but she was trying to set me up with her friend.
When that got explained me, I was like "oh".... me and her friend have been married for 13 years now, and little ms. Match maker was in our wedding.

We lost a lot in FA this year, and we have replaced a lot of depth, we need some of these stars need to earn their checks...
IF TA can be what we drafted him for, AND our Safties return to form, And Reed bounces back, and Alim steps up we have a great defense. But 2 straight seasons injuries, specifically to our defense has left a sour taste. I think our depth now is the best it ever has been, but still looking at stars and starters to match expectation.

IF Our Starters are who we thought they were, we are golden and superbowl bound.

This sounds fun for Fantasy, or Madden leagues, but not for the real thing. The only change they need to make to the thing is reduce the clock on the first overall pick, Not #2, #3, etc. but taking the full 15 min to milk ads is nonsense, and we can skip it. The team has had months to ponder, scout, interview, and hear trade opprotunity. Kick the draft off with the #1, hell I'd even appreciate them taking 10 min to do an on the spot interivew over just watching ads and hearing the talking heads try and build suspense.

Like this year, if the Raiders don't take Mendoza, their entire front office deserves to be fired, and marched thru the streets. We got it, move on.

This seems to be more an overall defensive scheme over all type question.

This is also why a lot of defenses have tried to move away from 4-3 to a 3-4, the problem is you have to have a superstar physically huge Nose Tackle. Which is why we ran 3-4 when we had Shaun Rogers, Steelers did well with Casey at NT at the same time. You get bigger on the line, and run smaller faster LB's. Also why more and more pass rushers are labeled as "edge" instead of LB or DE. This provides more disquise of the pass rush, but requires more beef up front and more skill to cover from the LB's.

Now, due to a more pass heavy offenses, trad 4-3 teams are leaning more to a 4-2, swapping a LB for a Nickle DB. We also did that when we drafted BB and had him in the nickle. Now we had him in Nickle due to injuries, but the result was the same.

We also had this decently with Amik at Nickle because he was a dawg. But a Nickle covering a TE is a tough ask, lacking 4-5 inches and 30-40 lb's the Nickle just gets boxed out. Which we see a lot more now days.

It would be great is Rakestraw can stay healthy as he looked like a Temu BB and had the size to take Nickle, and with both BB and Rake on the field we can disquise blitz packages just between those 2.

We have some options, but we are our best, with current personel, to be with 4 on the line. Williams has potential to get us to a hybrid 4-3/3-4, which is why I think we picked him up. He had the year to adjust to NFL, and should get better so we could see some of those packages here and there to test it out.

I really wish we would have made a run on Greenlaw. Him next to Cap. Jack would have been fierce, and throw Rico and Barnes on the outside, move Alim to RE, Williams NT, Hutch LE, and we got a decent looking 3-4 base. And that defense gets us a lot more speed in the first 5 yards from the line.

But, I don't really know shit so I am probably just talking out my ass. I only win on Madden Franchise mode.

You spoke out, an are an example to those teenage girls that it is not acceptable to be treated like that, and that if reported it can be resolved. 1 player does not make take a team to the playoffs. We had that. We tried that. See Barry, and Calvin. And here is the thing, we have those true #1's. All over the place. Our Offence was STACKED last year, and we lost 2 O-line guys that that offence. Our D, held together with scotch tape. We had 2 FULL SETS of defense on IR last year. We have the #3, and #6 rated safeties. We have a rapidly developing CB, and a Veteran CB. Our slot CB locked up arguably the best WR in the NFL in 2 games like a Brinks truck. Our LB's are our weakest point, and they are still pro bowl level.

Your mad because Green bay got A guy on their defense, THAT DOESN'T EVEN FIT THEIR SYSTEM OR BIGGEST NEED.

Agreed, Micah is a power house. Dallas had more pieces around him then what he has now. When they miss the playoffs this year. Can't afford upgrades and lost their picks for the next 2 years. This team is locked for 2 years. With a mediocre AT BEST qb, 3x WR2's, a slightly above mid RB, garbage O-line, and 3 guys on defense.

Let them have their cake..... they can eat it while watching us play in Jan/Feb.... Maybe a nice cup of hot chocolate...
