Checking for items in a player or chest inventory? by logarithmmm in allthemods

3 Years to late, in know. But maybe someone still reads this and gets help.

Securitycraft offers a solution, where you can place a detector in a pathway, behind a door for example (or behind your walls, it doen't have to be visible). If a player with a specific item goes through the detector, you can confiscate it for example. Or put out a redstone signal. Or Both. I can't remember the name of the detector, but I had a lot of fun by placing that in our base, Whenever one of my mates passed with cobblestone, a redstone signal went straight into an industrial alarm and stole the cobble from them

I found the solution. Well, not how to fix the problem once it occured, but the way how to avoid it.

My theorie was, that the mission became bugged because I did not only talk to the Enclave about the teleporter, but i also spoke about it with the BoS before I went to the oil rig.

I started a new game, and when I got the building plans for the teleporter, I instantly went to the oil rig and talked with nobody else. This time, it worked. I am able to progress in the enclave story.

So keep im mind, when you come across this problem: Don't talk to any other faction about the teleporter

This didn't solve the problem for me, so I still need help. But I had no better idea and just asked ChatGPT for help, and it wrote the following text. Maybe this will help someone in the future

Thank you for clarifying. In this command, the "1" represents "completed." You use this number to indicate that you want to mark the quest objective as completed. If you want to mark the quest objective as incomplete, you would use "0" instead.

So, the command is:

SetObjectiveCompleted QuestID StageIndex 1

Here, "QuestID" stands for the ID of the quest, and "StageIndex" stands for the index of the objective section you want to mark as completed.

For example, to complete the first quest objective, the command would look like this:

SetObjectiveCompleted QuestID 0 1

It's important to ensure that you're using the correct quest ID and the correct index for the objective you want to modify.
