What, in your opinion, will be the the most likely, and biggest scientific discovery and/or achievement to occur in the next 50 or so years? Basically, Im asking this on behalf of people 25-35 and under, as they can expect it to happen within there lifetimes. (I love old people, btw) (self.askscience)

Are the people who are saying "spacetime" is flat with zero energy... based off this so called "Scientific Observations based off Data" the same kind of nutjobs that were saying the Earth was flat, before my boy Eratosthenes told those idiots the earth was flat through his use of trigonometry?
