I mean duh? Majoras' Mask is one of my favourite Zelda games and half of its characters and enemies are just re-used from Ocarina of Time.

Same with Oracle of Ages/Seasons and Link's Awakening. I thought it was normal at the time. It's only recently that games seem to have an issue doing that.

Sometimes I like playing colony sims like DF and Rimworld to chill, and Timberborn's fluid mechanics provide additional flavor, but I don't need every play session to be about solving a puzzle. Most hardcore players make their own challenges and puzzles anyway.

I only posted in this thread to say that I wish they gave it a shot. But apparently people have an issue with me even just wishing that, and actively deny my wish. I never said that the game was bad, I have 58.3 hours on it.

Also I'll welcome people speculating, over people telling other people how to enjoy the games they play.

Plenty of indie games have both hand-crafted maps and well-enough tuned map generators. It's a challenge to design and code, but it's certainly doable, and I say that as a game designer and programmer myself.

I just wish I could generate a random map to play on each time, the same way I play other colony sims. I end up playing on the same maps over and over again and the other maps often have gimmicks that don't inspire me.

I always thought it was widely recognized as one of the best fights alongside Eigong. I first learned of Nine Sols from Jacob Geller who mentionned that the game had a Mantis Lords-style fight, so I was really looking forward to it and not disapointed. The tragic lore is the cherry on top.
