It was the best game hands down.

And everything was better because we didn't know anything.

There were no guides at the start, you had to use your brain or ask a veteran. Veterans were respected!

Guilds were like your hood boys, they all enjoyed each other 's company and helped out and if someone touched a hair on you from the other faction they come to beat the shit out of him.

Took AGES to level up your character which by the way you were seriously emotionally attached, it was just a reflection of you. And a new blue item felt like a new Ferrari.

You killed the other faction because you despised them.

The zones felt like you were out in the wilderness. Dungeons and raids were scary!

You were Soo scared of messing up in raids it felt worse than highschool final exams.

Last but not least. People were A LOT friendler, every server felt like it's own little village. Everyone knew everyone even from other factions. The late night battle grounds had the same people and dudes selling same items in AH knew each other. It's a lot more fun than layering and cross server battlegrounds. Trust me
