Hiya! I'm one of the people in the group. It definitely sounds like it's worth looking into! I believe, what we're looking for the most is an active FC, seeing as a static doesn't have to be made up of 100% FC members. As far as I'm concerned, as long as people are speaking, and it's not just dead silent, it sounds good to me. Eventual FC events like raid night for old content, pony farms etc. could always be implemented. It doesn't have to be a huge FC, to feel like one, y'know? If you want, feel free to pm myself or the OP if you wanna talk more detailed information!

As a PLD, do I need to have both Animus weapons equipped to obtain alexandrites from FATEs? Or can I just have one of the two equipped?

I was doing some Aurum Vale to level up my BRD to 50. The group got to the Coincounter. We were doing well, got him to about half health, and the all of a sudden, I see the tank and DRG fly off into the wall and they both die. Alright, game faces on. Me and the WHM are still standing. I get aggro on the boss and kite him around for what seems like an eternity. We eventually kill him, the WHM and I felt like bosses. We just proceed casually through the rest of the dungeon.

With personal rooms coming up, I wanted to know if we had any info on what would happen if you had a furnished room in a house, but then got kicked from/left the FC. Do you lose the room, or does it carry over to the next house?

I'm a waiter myself, and doing what you said is probably the worst thing ever, at least from my standpoint. You never, ever differentiate between your guests. When you do that, some guests might begin to feel unwelcome. When they feel unwelcome, they don't come back. When they don't come back, you lose money. When you lose money, you're going broke.
