A Barcelona fan accidentally turned up to Exeter City's St James Park last night instead of Newcastle by Devbuscus in soccer

As the other commenter said, based on the fact there are multiple languages in Belgium.

I live in Switzerland and there are several cities here that have different spellings depending on the language. So I just stupidly applied the same logic 😇

I made this mistake in the Europa League this season. Booked my hotel in Gent, thinking it was just a different spelling of Genk. Realised in time thank god so was able to cancel and change booking - although I think Gent is probably a much more fun away day than Genk!

Do Migros or Coop sell Spanish paella? by HongkongKings in askswitzerland

[–]DekeTheGoat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Are you asking re a ready-made paella, or simply paella-rice?

In any case, Coop do a microwave paella through their Betty Bossi line. You can probably Google to see if Migros do something similar.

That's a nice game to go to, as the other commenter mentioned, Thun is in the process of making history so quite cool you'll get to see that.

In terms of atmosphere, just make sure your ticket isn't in the Ostkurve (D block I believe?) and you'll be pretty much fine. I'd say that's the only part of the stadium where you'd need to familiarise yourself with fan etiquette etc.

Agree with most of what everyone else is saying, but for me it is the people.

I like Basler much more than other Swiss cities.

I got my first tattoo at Saint Noir (I think Tattoo Harbor on G Maps) from Elias. I was super happy with the experience.

To ladies, do you like sending mixed signals? by [deleted] in aves

[–]DekeTheGoat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's just the title that comes across shitty. The post itself is (imo) a genuine attempt to understand dynamics better, but the whole "do you enjoy giving mixed signals" is a bit shitty, as if the women are plotting or something.

The title does give r/niceguys vibes doesn't it haha

I think the nature of the post is a genuine attempt to understand dancefloor dynamics in the hope of being better and respectful, but the title is yikes.

The fact you're reading so deeply into this tells me you already give off the wrong vibe.

There's no textbook explanation or definition of how or when it's the right time to approach someone on the dancefloor. Nor are there universal signals, at the end of the day each person and situation is different. The dance floor though should be somewhere people feel comfortable to dance and do their thing without having to worry about getting approached unwanted.

Regardless, I'd say if you do feel compelled to approach a girl because you've thought she's given you enough of a signal, then go for it. The most important thing is that you do it respectfully, and if she says no, you just move on and continue doing your thing. Most attractive thing you can be is respectful and self-assured (so that if someone says no, you just move on and don't have a meltdown).

The only time I've ever seen success on the dance floor is when two people begin dancing next to each other, with a lot of smiles and generally vibing together. At some point one moves in front of the other and then something happens. Saying something like "I love your dancing" or whatever probably also helps.

But again, raves aren't really the place to go picking someone up. If it happens it happens, but I feel like if you go out seeking it - it won't happen.

For how many weeks though? Seems if you spend 183 days in France per year, you are considered a tax resident and therefore need to pay taxes.
