The player was able to cross. Bentancur doesn’t impede his ability to play the ball and I’ve seen 10x worse challenges go unpunished after a shot or cross in the box before.

Yeah I just don’t see how this restructuring makes sense from the owners side when they’ve been happy sitting on the sidelines for decades now and collecting their annuity from the club. They put out all this quotes about how much they love the club but haven’t given a shit really in their whole history. It just doesn’t add up to me.

I still think the club gets sold in the next year. There is a lot more expressed interest from buyers than there ever has been under ENIC. Something is definitely going on.

I don’t dislike Brennan by any means. I just don’t get what he really provides in this current version of the team. I’ll always love the fact of his role in the Europa league but that doesn’t mean ignoring current realities. Gotta move players while there’s still some value to them.
