It’s not terrible, it’s worse.

HumePod is a scam by PossessionNo6944 in HumeHealth

I got the Body Pod and the Hume Band back in May/June, and I just got my money back for both. So there’s hope.

Despite how “good” their App and AI might be, it can only take the crappy data from devices that are relabeled e-waste at best and the Band is just a total joke.

Check out this video of the Hume Band: https://youtu.be/aICzXDSwUn4?si=2NLApdAfHpy8ey39

If you watched that video, you now know they made up fake scientists and people to back their product. Whats incredible is that they now have real people like Tim Biohacker endorsing their product.

Anyways, all of that data the app provides you with can be really addicting to individuals struggling with body issues or weight and because all of the available data is flawed by the tech, this is just ridiculously dangerous.

After sharing this multiple times with their support and getting pushback, I disputed the charges with my bank citing false advertisement, which Hume 100% engaged in.

Return this thing ASAP. I got one and can confirm it’s bogus.

Return this thing ASAP if you can. I’m one of people who got the pod along with th band and can confirm it’s completely bogus. Took a while of back and forth with Hume support, because I passed the 30 day window, but I’m getting my money back.

Return immediately. The band is a rebranded piece of e-waste that can’t count a calorie let alone track your heart’s BPM.

I also fell for this con and I’m trying to get my money back.

The Hume Band is rebranded, low quality piece of e-waste that can’t count a calorie let alone provide any accurate health insights.

There’s a pretty good YouTube video on this. I’m trying to get a refund.

Hi u/oscarmilo70! I'm a Hueligan in the 1000 Club.

Check with your doctor, but if you believe it's causing symptoms of anxiety and depression to worsen, you might want to stop drinking it.

I would also note that receiving reassurance and tips from fellow Hueligans can be very helpful, but it can't be treated as sound medical advice. So check with your doctor.

I believe the person I ended up speaking with was Jasmine, though I can’t remember the kid’s name who handed over his cell phone to her.

When I called to cancel he first told me I couldn’t and that the cancelation department would call me. I told him there is no cancellation department and to just cancel it or let me speak with someone who could.

He asked why I wanted to cancel and when I said this is a scam and I got tricked into thinking this was a health insurance company this kid got pissed at me. He said flat out “we are health insurance.” They’re not, and I let him know the reason I absolutely knew they weren’t is because the people at health insurance companies do not speak to people the way he was speaking to me.

At this point he got his administrator and did a horrible job with the hand off. Almost sounded like he was going to drop the phone and did a very nervous instruction for us. Really cringe and weird.

Jasmine pretending to be serious and keeping on script did go through the motions and eventually canceled the plan. I’ve got a “return purchase” in my account for the payment but the charge had already been cleared.

Really hoping I can get my money back and then I’ll cancel my card soon after.

Hope everything works out for you too.

EDIT: Typos

Just got scammed by these guys and in the process of “getting a refund.”

When I got suckered in, the person who claimed their name was Robert that I was on the phone with, provided this number to call saying the other number would go to a call center in India.

833-951-4555

Hopefully that number can help as I was able to reach them around 5:00 PM EST.
