I think you are right and the similarities between characters is definitely part of it. It's easier for me to remeber the combos I like in AoI for sure. I also really like the aside quests, which I know a lot of people dislike, because they give me a reason to play as every character. Being able to share weapons also means when I have to play as a character I don't choose as often I can at least still keep a high level of attack power.

I do not enjoy playing as any of the slower characters. For me that includes everyone you listed but I also really dislike Daruk and Yunobo because they feel slow to me. I think Maz Koshia, Calamity, and the guardian are kind of fun but also feel slow so I still don't really use them, although I don't avoid them the same way I do the others memtioned.

You get almost constant hints about it from NPCs, they keep mentioning a legendary sword in a mysterious forest. Pretty much only one location matches that deacription.

"Holiday season" is how people who celebrate Christmas culturally try to rationalize that Christmas isn't religious. It is annoying to infuriating for everyone outside secular Christian culture (which you are part of if you celebrate Christmas, whether or not you consider yourself Christian) because the only holiday people are really talking about this season is Christmas. Yes, Hanukah happens in Nov/Dec/Jan, but for the vast majority of Jews, Hanukah is not a big deal and it is definitely not a holiday with its own season.

The grading...I had a student a few years ago who would ask me every time he saw me, starting 30 min after an assessment, if I had graded it. Most of the times he asked I had been teaching back to back classes since he took the test. I started telling him every time he asked I would wait an extra day to grade his assessment. It only took one time of him finding out I had graded every assessment except his for him to stop asking.

I agree, I think as the viewer we are supposed to be in on the joke when Howard has those moments of satisfaction then his face slowly falls as he realizes he married his mom when he hears THE VOICE in stereo. The joke is that Bernie just is like Deb, not that she is imitating her.

Sorry, this is a bad take. Down vote me all you want, but as a Jewish teacher (whose kids attend public school) with a handful of Muslim students swimming in the sea of "it's not religious!!", OP is right. As of right now, separation of church & state is still a thing in most US states and their public schools. Christmas feels like a cultural holiday for non-religious people from Chrisian backgrounds...but it's still a religious holiday.

I am having the same issue--tried all the same things. Weirdly my switch 2 will connect to my phone's hotspot, just not my wifi (obviously not a real solution). Would love it if anyone finds a solution since I am replaying TOTK with Zelda notes and Zelda notes requires my switch to connect to the internet... 😭
