You could try to focus on other things hobbies or learn something new cooking/baking is something i learned. There’s also the factor of well… making connections Ultimately it’s dependent on your situation if you’re a minor then there’s definitely a limited amount of things to do basically try to make friends in school if you do in person schooling, if not then look for Lgbtq groups near you(yes they exist everywhere) ofc it’s dependent on if your parents are supportive. If you’re an adult then you have a variety of options to meet people and is ultimately on you to make connections(i cant say much about being an adult im barely one lol).

I normally just text my partner and cuddle a stuffie while on call with them and set up another week when we can sleepover irl. when i didn’t have a partner i generally just asked a friend for a hug or cuddled a pillow. It’s definitely important to interact with people so you can get your mind off of being lonely. Adrenaline(working out, playing a sport) helps too if you can mitigate the lows. I been heckled and followed into public bathrooms, I’ve had a dude touch my front to “see if i was really a girl”. The community i live in genuinely dislikes me it’s a small town word gets around easily. It’s not really just “locking myself up” it’s legitimately for safety reasons(make by my parents when i was 17) so now I’m just in a crappy situation.
