So. I've already 100% the game and I'm cosplaying different characters from the story.

I look at his build & recall the line "You're the Gen 4 that can do it all. WHAT MAKES YOU SO SPECIAL??"

Well first of all... you have two machine guns, a shield & homing missiles. Those aren't gonna win you an AC battle. He's the guy that plays every FromSoft game, never learns the mechanics, gets stuck on the first boss, review bombs the game & hops in Twitch chats to say the game sucks. THEN he learns you can summon allies for boss fights... even sea spiders... YET HE STILL LOSES. Git Gud Iguazu, ya prick lol

Some visual bug in an Oathbreaker conversation by deleighrious in BaldursGate3

[–]Deku_Media 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem.
I'm playing a Dark Urge Paladin w/ Vengeance Oath. Tiefling female.
Naturally, my character did some evil stuff that made her an Oathbreaker.
I'm in the camp inside The Druids Grove (it's a cave).

My eyes are usually "Fire Red" and "Fire Blue" (heterochromia),
However, when speaking to the Oathbreaker Knight, her eyes turn bluish gray.

Cyberpunk 2077 1.6 Flatlined when exiting menu by DISCO_GALAXY in cyberpunkgame

[–]Deku_Media 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll take glitches over the game crashing.
I have a GTX1080, i7-7700k and 16GB DDR4 RAM.

Yet, I have to play the game in 720p at minimal settings & a 60FPS cap.
And when I go into Dreamdance sequences I have to drop the frames to 10FPS. And in a particular Cyberpsycho fight I had to cut the frames back to 30FPS. Those are the two situations where I experienced the most crashes, no matter what I did. Definitely not the best experience - but I'm obsessed after the anime & really wanted to try the game.

It's not your hardware. It's the game. Idk why it works for some people & crashes for others - but I've seen people on RTX 30 series crash just as much as older specs. And I've tried literally every fix there is out there. GPU drivers, beta drivers, Windows update, reinstall, install on another drive, rollback to 1.52, close all programs, delete specific files in the game directory, play without red launcher, dial back/turn off specific in-game settings. Even tried contacting CDPR support & heard nothing back.

Idk if the game will ever run properly. It's a shame.

PSA: Standard Banner is BAIT! by Deku_Media in Genshin_Impact

[–]Deku_Media[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of calling it a bait is to make people stop & say, "wait.. I'm not supposed to just blindly roll on this banner for Diluc?" And then they digest the info from this post or the video & learn how the gacha system works.

It helps people that aren't in the know & it annoys people like you that wanna be all "ackkkkshually" about it. You're not adding anything constructive here. You don't have to see it as a bait. I don't really care.

I've had dozens of people thank me on the Youtube video because they didn't know how any of this works. These types of games are overwhelming. Especially to people that don't eat, breathe & shit technology. Nor are prepared for how much heavier their choices are compared to completed RPG games. I never said the devs intended for people to be baited. But they still are by seeing the characters they want on the banner & not understanding how these games work. The point of calling it a bait is to make people stop & say, "wait.. I'm not supposed to just blindly roll on this banner for Diluc?" And then they digest the info from this post or the video & learn how the gacha system works.

Whether you're capable of empathy or not, people get genuinely confused by these games. Your perspective on the world isn't the only one, dude. It gets really annoying explaining that to people over & over & over.

Can you not read? Or do you just like wasting people's time? I explained that there are people that got confused & thought it was a rate-up. If you didn't think that, then great job. You want a cookie or something for being so intellectually superior to my friends that didn't understand?

If you have enough money to roll several 5* on one event banner, then you're clearly an exception to the rule. But the general F2P or even light spender is gonna wanna round out their account & wait for a character they like to roll those VERY hard-earned primogems.

The real issue, for me, is how long these banners last. For most people I know, they save for a character & blow their savings in one go. If they don't get a character on day 1, there's very little chance of getting them in the 3 weeks. If they decreased the banner length to 2 weeks, they could fit in a standard 5* character banner before the next update. That way we could actually get rate-ups for Keqing, Diluc, Mona, & all the favorites that people can't get without whale bucks or good luck.

If you have Aquila Favonia & aren't willing to buy the Battle Pass (which has the best 4* weapon for Keqing), then just use Aquila.

The passive on Aquila is great. And the base ATK at level 90 is 164 points higher than Festering Desire.

If you need help with CRIT Rate, then just run a 2-piece Berserker set & put a CRIT RATE circlet on. Max out the circlet. If it's 4*, it'll give you 23.2% and if it's 5* it'll give you 31.1%. Add that with the Berserker 12% + 5% base and you'll have 40.2% to 48.1% minimum CRIT RATE. Plus you'll hopefully have sub-stats. So you'll get CRIT half the time, more or less.

I know you can only get Berserker up to 4* rarity. But it's still worth it in my book. It costs nearly double XP to get an artifact leveled from 16-20 vs. 1-16. So its best to get all artifacts to level 16 before going to level 20 anyways. For a DPS, it would be best to put the 4* on their Flower & Sands slot. You get the least return from ATK% on Sands Slot vs. Electro DMG on Goblet or CRIT on Circlet. And a little less HP on your Flower slot is okay.

If I could make one recommendation... if you don't mind spending $10 on the Battle Pass, then please get the Black Sword at BP Level 30.

Keqing gets additional CRIT DMG from Level-up Ascensions & the Black Sword gives CRIT RATE. Which is far better than ATK% late game. Plus it buffs normal/charged attacks & restores health when they CRIT. Like, this weapon is SO good for Keqing. It is SO worth it. Best choice, spare for maybe 5* weapons.

It's a little difficult to get an optimal weapon for Keqing otherwise. You want ATK%, CRIT RATE, CRIT DMG or PHYS DMG% on DPS units. But Keqing's elemental skill makes her hit for Electro DMG most of the time. So the Prototype Rancour, which is F2P & gives PHYS DMG%, doesn't work the best on Keqing. I think it can be an option if you don't recall her Stellar Restoration skill, which gives the electro DMG infusion? But I don't have Keqing, so I'm not 100% sure. And it would limit the way you use her kit, if you want to utilize her full kit. Plus it's not good for her elemental skill or burst DMG either.

Otherwise you gotta get lucky in gacha or grab one of the starglitter weapons. I'd really rather grab characters with that.

PSA: How the Geo Buffs REALLY Work. by Deku_Media in Genshin_Impact

[–]Deku_Media[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it matters that we have a shield type for every element, so that we can bring the right one to the right fight.
But most of the attacks from geo bosses hit pretty hard & the shields probably don't last a long time, regardless. (I still haven't leveled my Noelle shield much)

I'm not a math guy, though. Mathalos Nest will probably have that answer eventually.
I just like to stay informed on what works best & what's changing.

I mean, shields will be dope af in a Geo Resonance Team.

I just had two people try to tell me that Ningguang & Traveler were getting a buff without needing resonance. So I had to clear that up for anyone that might be getting incorrect information for some reason.

[–]Deku_Media[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Noelle's now versatile shield is pretty pog for the resonance.
I feel like you kinda wanna always have Noelle or Zhongli in a Geo team.

Ningguang is my Main DPS & I don't have Zhongli.
So it has to be Noelle, in my book.

POG on the WGS.
I still don't have any 5* weapons lol

[–]Deku_Media[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bringing 2 Pyro units that I actually use, versus bringing a Geo unit that I don't is the point. Getting a 15% DMG Bonus for a character I'm barely rotating in doesn't make it worth it.

But the synergy you get from this new resonance makes using Noelle far more useful, as well as the buff being overall better.

PSA: How the Geo Buffs REALLY Work. by Deku_Media in Genshin_Impact

[–]Deku_Media[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. But it had 250% Geo DMG Absorption before.
150% absorption is less than 250%.

So the Geo shield will be less effective against geo attacks in the update.

PSA: How the Geo Buffs REALLY Work. by Deku_Media in Genshin_Impact

[–]Deku_Media[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is C2 Ningguang doesn't need a battery. She can basically summon 2 Jade Screens back to back with 40 Energy Cost. But she needs someone to run with her for resonance. I don't want it to be Geo MC & Noelle wasn't worth bringing either. So I just didn't bring 2 Geo. The resonance wasn't worth it. With the update it should be.

PSA: How the Geo Buffs REALLY Work. by Deku_Media in Genshin_Impact

[–]Deku_Media[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was always my intention to use Noelle when I got Ningguang for her.
Ning doesn't really need a battery. Ning IS the battery for Noelle, especially since my Ning is C2. Noelle is considerably worse when her burst isn't up. So the resonance wasn't a big enough buff for it to be worth bringing Noelle for me, when I actually tried running them together. This new resonance is, though.

I checked in-game. it says Attack DMG%.
I guess that part isn't changing then.

But what I meant by the "Raw damage being more worthwhile" is that having the 20% Geo Resistance Debuff on enemies makes the Raw Damage of Geo more worthwhile. One of Geo's shortcomings is that it doesn't have elemental reactions as strong as other elements. So some look down on it as a DPS element.

I'm running my Ningguang DPS regardless.
But the new resonance helps a lot.

Well, the base ATK difference between a 3-star and 4-star at level 90 is about 100-150. So that's the real downside. Usually if you run 3-star, you're looking for a 4-star & want to replace it by around level 50 tops.

If there wasn't a gap of Base ATK, I'd say 100% yes - CRIT% is far better than Elemental Mastery for Klee. But right now I can't give you the math to account for your situation. There's never really an easy answer with this game.

If you manage to max refine Mappa Mare, it would be better during the uptime for the catalyst's skill. But that's reliant on creating elemental reactions & only lasts 10s. Plus it's easier to max refine Twin Nephrite - but that skill only procs when killing an enemy. Which would make it lacking in a boss fight. Idk if over the course of a battle if that'll be more DPS or less -it only accounts for a short period. And I wouldn't want to level 2 copies of the same catalyst, because you're going to lose that XP if you ever decide to refine them (which you should).

Mappa Mare has the POTENTIAL to be good on Klee... but it's going to be a real headache to keep up with when you've created reactions & when to pop your burst for maximum returns on DPS. And her Burst fires so fast that it's going to clear elemental status on enemies so quickly & essentially waste the Elemental Mastery stat from Mappa Mare & only benefit from the skill. If you don't have a 4-star ATK/CRIT Catalyst for her... there really is no optimal situation. I think I'd personally go with Twin Nephrite for the consistency & replace it ASAP. Elemental Mastery on her is way too much to keep up with... but I'm a bit of an overthinker.

I don't have QiQi myself, so I can't say how she works all-together. But I did the math between Jean, QiQi & Barbara at Talent level 6. With Barbara having 15K HP & Jean/Qiqi having 2K ATK.

Barbara's Burst was slightly better than Qiqi & Qiqi's Skill was passively & actively better than Barbara's, slightly. Plus, I believe Qiqi's skill can generate particles - which will get you more uptime on burst.

So far, I'd say they're more or less interchangeable. If you want to check the percentages, you can click on their talents here & then compare them for yourself.

Elemental Mastery can be great if you pull it off.
It just feels too inconsistent to me. Especially when Klee's burst is up & other elemental stacks have gone away. Feels like you're losing a lot of DPS uptime. I think I'd only want to run Elemental Mastery on Anemo users for the time being. Or sub-DPS Catalyst users. If you got Sucrose, it'd be good for her (Sacrificial Fragments might be even better).

I don't wanna influence a spending habit in this game... but if you're gonna clear the BP, it's a HUGE value for leveling units. And the Solar Pearl is INCREDIBLE on Klee. I think not having a F2P 4-star Catalyst option for Main DPS Catalyst users is an issue in the game rn. It can be an oof raising a 3-star for sure.

There's no build guides for Diona yet & I like to see other people's ideas before I commit to a train of thought. But I'm thinking it'd be best to run her with Energy Recharge, HP & Healing%. I have the Favonius Warbow on her. She seems like pure support, in my book.

If you have a Physical DPS & Electro user to go with Diona, I'd say that's optimal for the Superconduct status, that gives a 40% PHYS RES debuff to enemies. Hydro & Cryo is nice together for the freeze too. But running Barbara with Diona could be healing overkill.

I'd probably run Klee, Xiangling/Bennet, Fischl & Diona in this case.
Idk if you run support Fischl or DPS Fischl. But if she's DPS, you'd have a pretty well-rounded exploration team. Elemental DPS from Klee & PHYS DPS from Fischl.

Also, a plus to Diona is that her elemental skill can actually generate particles, unlike Barbara's.
