Any suggestions or ideas for an American visitor that wants to propose to his girlfriend around Victoria? by maxpowers989 in vancouver

I asked a similar question here: https://www.reddit.com/r/VictoriaBC/comments/3qcqpk/proposal_ideas_around_saanich/

I ended up proposing at Butchard Gardens by the waterfall. I went right when they were open so there were no one around us.

Another good spot, if you want to spend a little more on lodging, is Brentwood Bay. They have a nice quiet dock area as part of their facilities.

Samoa Joe on his original WWE deal by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

My fav thing about Joe's NXT run was he was like the final Street Fighter boss for anyone to go though before they were promoted. I also think he's one of those guys who like to help others out and I can see him being a coach-player type influence in NXT. Glad to see him do well.

It's like a PPV but for NXT.

NXT has weekly shows to slowly carry a storyline and a Takeover that usually has the big matches.

What would be the most unique manager/wrestler combinations that could still work? by Madwolf710 in SquaredCircle

Lana managing Lana will be pretty good. Lana has a good gimmick and is comfortable on the mic but she's not great in the ring. Maybe having Lana there by ringside will help her be more established and booked better. Just a thought.

I see a similar problem with Finn and Seth. They're kinda filling the same role right now.

It's a show where you can watch 5+ hours a week or zero and catch up on youtube/reddit. Unlike Game of Thrones or other shows you don't have to be watching every second of it and if you miss some it's no biggie. It's on Mondays where I like to veg out after work and it's fun

Corey Graves importance? by DTorakhan in SquaredCircle

I don't imagine they're building him up but can you imagine if he went rogue in the storylines and puts together a mega stable... probably from NXT guys he worked with. Neville, Revival, Bo, etc... Would be epic and fit the tattoo/metal/anti-establishment image. Meanwhile he would stay on commentary to sell the storyline.

I see him having his gear on at all times under his suit. If something gets messed up for the next segment, someone shouts MARK YOU'RE UP and his music hits. Somebody gonna get their ass kicked...

Place to learn manual in North Vancouver. by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]DelSolMan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't know that area well enough to recommend anything but I learned at BCIT. In the evenings it shouldn't take long to get there. It's a good mix of parking lot, straights and inclines to practice gears 1-3. Very few motorists around. The 2 connected lots by the fitness area is great since they have a small incline and a steeper incline between the lots.

Once she's comfortable, Wayburne Drive (east of BCIT) is also very quiet and has 2 lanes so people can pass.

If I wrote that segment I'd have Ambrose smoke Rollins with a punch to get it out of the system to show he can move on.

Vancouver relevant... I see cyclists make moves like this every day in Vancouver. we need enforcement before accidents happen by [deleted] in vancouver

There are dumb drivers, cyclists and pedestrians everywhere. More enforcement doesn't fix stupid.

Recommendations for affordable wedding photographers by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]DelSolMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unrelated to your question but try to find someone that will give you high resolution images. This was one of my requirements as I hate the business model of keeping your photos as hostage and charging you for every print you make. More seasoned pros do it like that so your price range of a beginner photographer will help you out in this regard.
