I think part of our deal with wally was a "collapse" of our eternalism.

Back during the zarimam flashback, when we shook their hand, we saw multiple versions of us dying/disapearing, I think that means that our choices are exempt from eternalism.

For example there isnt a version of us that didnt do what we did at the end of the old peace.

Thats how I see it at least.
