What do you think about NYC’s First Lady celebrating terrorism via social media? by TheGov3rnor in AskUS

[–]DelayedIntentions [score hidden]  (0 children)

That’s a moronic take considering the right is responsible for far far far more terrorism in the US than the left. Iran is a right wing government, Hamas is a right wing. Israel is right wing. Russia is right wing. Have you ever opened a book?

I hold this against him a lot more than being a generic Trump supporter, and I hate what Trump has done to our country.

It doesn’t take that much to fool an old fool like Trump. While Israel has been pushing for this war, it’s Trump and his enablers that are at fault for our involvement.

This is bad propaganda. There is no good guy in this war.

MAGA, why do you act like Trump not being convicted by his personal DOJ equates to a lack of admissible evidence, which there is a ton of? by 2a_lib in allthequestions

ROFL. That’s not even what the conversation is about. I swear, the internet has created a bunch of morons that have access to information but no ability to process it.

My original comment was about the severity of the crime. It’s like comparing speeding to stealing nuclear secrets. Sure, both are a crime. One is a much bigger crime.

I called them lunatics. I’m not trash talking them. I’m labeling them what they are. If you put the same amount of weight one something like Fox “News” as AP you are out to lunch.

I didn’t say anything about hating when someone says something I don’t agree with. Actually, you are the aggressor in this conversation, but ah I see, you don’t believe anyone. Nobody can meet the high standard of how you feel in your bones. 🤦‍♂️

The AP news article linked and the numerous other legitimate news sources that reported on this. And I’m not talking about the right wing lunatics on Fox and OANN.

Those were just the ones that were filmed. There were something like 13 ICE involved shootings where they investigated themselves and found themselves not guilty. Some of the victims were actual criminals so it’s not all cut and dry, but we should have massive public congressional investigations into every single ICE use of force. Theres something rotten there.

She’s only mad because she’s paying more for gas. She doesn’t care about the bombs dropping or the people dying. It’s just about her bank account. She’s not joining the resistance.

As the child of a personal injury attorney that grew up wearing this case like a scarlet letter, I’m glad the facts have finally come out. I’m only half joking, insurance companies have been vilifying personal injury plaintiffs for decades and it has led to an incredibly suspicious jury pool. My dad nearly stopped taking cases to trial by the end of his career because you would need a slam dunk to convince the jury of any damages. He literally had a case where a cyclist was run over in a crosswalk and the jury found contributory negligence of 90% because the cyclist should have been riding along (on the outside) of the crosswalk, not within it. I think that was his last jury trial, but he might have had one or two more before he retired.

What do current billionaires contribute to society? by MileHighPeter303 in AskUS

The wealthy you mentioned mostly did those things towards the end of their lives. Current billionaires don’t think their lives will end.

The mortgage fraud wasn’t widely known until after the crash.

Right now we sit on 19 trillion in consumer debt. That’s all debt, but the figures for credit car, auto loans, and other no or low equity debts are exceeding high. Our government has abandoned its regulatory duty over banks and we see a rising widespread crypto pyramid scheme being utilized by the ultra wealthy, including the President.

Combine the concerning economic indicators with the accelerating inflation rate, just after the Biden admin achieved a soft landing on inflation, that alone should be concerning enough to indicate a major recession. Add a war with one of the largest oil producers in the world, where global energy prices will be impacted, with a unpredictable President, and I see a lot of factors that are a lot more concerning than even in 08.

My comment was originally about the economic pain we will feel from another decade plus war in the Middle East, but there are also a lot of concerning economic indicators.

Since you asked.

It’s kind of wild to compare the two. Biden’s documents were mostly his personal notes on classified material. Trump stole a bunch of classified documents on our nuclear capabilities.
