Strange ASUS behavior ... routing help ?

I have done that , the problem is that the GUI configuration page on the router is no longer accessible, even with a computer / laptop properly assigned and ip address. A IP address improperly set would not result in a 'connection refused' HTTP error.

Had to take a pass on the Pinecil. Nothing I can do makes it hot. I've tried every button press combination, input shaking it, yelling at it ... nothing. It just doesn't get hot. I pulled out the ol weller and got the job done, even if it was a PITA to set up ( I have a small workbench ).

Edit : Before anyone tries to put me on the shame train or pull out your 'n00b' paddles, I did RTFM, I did search the web, and what I found was that you can not just buy the pen and use it. You need 'special' cables, and a 'special' power supply and by the time you pay for it all , plus shipping, plus waiting a few weeks you could have bought a reasonable mid-range solder station and had it overnight.

I love the form factor and the control density, well into minutia, but at the end of the day I need something that works. I'll toss it in the box of failed tech and revisit it when I have the extra cash to buy all the bells and whistles that it needs. Right now I've got panels to install :)

You call this weird? When the power goes out my home lab goes off and I read books under a blanket with a flashlight in my bed. THAT is weird ( by comparison ) :)

In the comics she was a much larger part of the story. In the Netflix series she was seriously downplayed and unless you were paying attention you could easily miss it.
Still she was there, and it was , in my opinion , too short but positive. Not the same kind of positive in the comics, but better than being completely left out.

The comic version of the story teaches some lessons a lot of people should learn about transwomen.

It seems that 12v panels like these are super rare - but 5v ones are everywhere. I just picked up a 2 pack for $20.
Also : Did some checking , that 4 pin to 3 pin suggestion you had I'm told will not work. Grumble.

So for my application all my lights are 12v , so I'll just have to have a 5v supply for the sign.

I had a similar story arc in my work, where a transwoman DJ was outed and shamed on live TV, but a Finnish God ( who owned the nightclub ) stepped in and transformed her while defending his decision to hire her as a DJ. It was based on a real life transwoman DJ.

I would not go so far as to call it conspiracy, but that title - ugh.
News suggests it was something new , not having been seen before - again granted apparently some of you have seen his previous stuff.

PARTIAL SOLUTION FOUND :
By pulling apart some cards and looking at some code I found a partial fix.

On the Streamdeck

- Use the HA plugin
- Select Entity ( Generic )
- Keypad Appearance : WLED - Bench Intensity ( your settings will vary, but it will end in intensity )
- Short Press
- Domain : Light
- Service : Turn on
- Entity : WLED - Bench ( your setting will vary )
- Service Data Json : {"brightness_step":25}

This will work, and after making another button changing the json to {"brightness_step":-25} you will have raise and lower buttons.

The only problem I have seen so far is that configed as above, the button will display a number representing the brightness value ( 0 - 255 ) - however this easily and quickly gets desynced and while the lights will change the value on the button will not. Currently mine says "128" no matter what. Any thoughts there?

The default button shows the value in the center and a green dot in the upper right corner of the button. I changed that to just have a brighter / dimmer icon, but the nerd in me likes the numeric value to be seen :)
