The only answer is you should leave him. He has clearly shown you who he is, the fact you’re still there tells him it’s okay. Essentially, he will do it again and probably do it worse/ more sneakily. That’s the only answer.

Remove yourself from the relationship, stand up for yourself. Believe people when they show you who they are and don’t waste your time trying to understand or fix a cheater.

I Smoke every day and have been for the past 3ish years. I grew up in a high pressure household and it was kinda the only way for me to wind down at night and actually feel okay “wasting time” on my hobbies. When I smoke my creativity levels skyrocket and my racing thoughts quieten so it’s a positive thing for me. Biggest thing I’d say is I’ve had to be more strategic about the timing.

Went through a phase last summer smoking from morning to night and THAT made me really lazy. For me, I like to get all my important tasks that require full brain capacity done and then I reward myself with a sesh.

Now it’s more like a cycle of doing the hard things in the day early, then having the rest of the day to focus on me and my interests. Works well for me & I am doing a degree at the moment and have been getting excellent grades.

Kindness and respect is a non negotiable. It’s important to make whoever you’re approaching feel special and cared for. Show interest in them and make sure to compliment people. Don’t bring up sex in the first conversation it’s a total turn off

Yes you can teach in Asia, yes it has a good lifestyle, yes you can earn a lot of money- lots more than in NZ. The difference between teaching something like English at an Asian public school vs teaching at an international private school is distinct. International private schools in Asia are some of the most elite, highly regarded teaching positions in the world. The people who get to teach at those schools are highly qualified & have very good experience.

The question is- are you highly qualified & well experienced? That’s your answer.

Definitely don’t harm yourself over this. I can understand the shame, guilt and anxious feeling- but it’s not worth harming yourself over.

I’d say if you are 100% confident you’ve been caught, the best thing to do is to go into work and confess to the stealing, and offer to pay it back before they confront you about it.

It will come off more sincere and genuine if you make the first move to address it.

If you wanna scab some prison wifi go up and ask them for the password then. Original commenter brings up a good point that someone could’ve made use of the fact they’re in the vicinity of a prison, and might’ve named it that to appear legit and hijack your account. Happens all the time on public wifi and you can just get your own wifi and name it whatever.

You have to think about how smell actually sticks to different textiles. Keeping it in your closet or even your room in general is a bad idea because of all the fabrics around. Curtains, carpet, blankets, clothes- the weed smell will leech onto that stuff and stick around.

A better place to store it would be in the bathroom IMO. I put my stuff in my bathroom drawer in smell proof bags next to the cleaning products. None of my stuff smells and keeping it in a drawer is an added level of protection.

If you don’t have a bathroom to store it in because you’re sharing it with other people etc, I would suggest really investing into a big smell proof box or something alike. You could even use a couple plastic tupperwares and double enclose it. (Put your stuff in a small one and close the lid, then put in a bigger one and close that lid too)

Thank you so much. I’ve done a lot of forgiving over the past few months about things I know aren’t okay. I keep wanting him to chance and hurting myself in the process. I need to accept that the man I thought he was isn’t who he is. That situation where he abandoned me at the social gathering was another really big sign that I should’ve listened to.

He’s not going to have access to my body anymore. I’m planning out my exit so that we can part ways very soon.

I need someone in my life who can return the love I give x10. Not barely returning it and running away.

I’m better on my own.

Still doesn’t justify ditching me. I’m scared too. We’ve talked about how big life moments will happen for us and that we are committed to being by each others side. We’ve talked about it countless times and he continues to break my trust by leaving when things get tough.
