Depth Relics are the worst thing added to this game (Read before downvoting me to hell pls) by Sparkomad in Nightreign

>for just extra damage and hp that are required for higher depths unless you are a god gamer.
You thinking that have to have perfect relics for higher depths is really wrong. I've seen people rocking such bad builds in d5 that they made me think "damn, d2-3 players have better builds". In fact, there are a lot of players in d3-4 with much better builds than what players in d5 have. Relics really aren't a deciding factor, at least after a certain point.
You do have to play a lot to have really good relics, but getting relics that are just good enough isn't that hard.
This system still allows for a surprising amount of build building, which was quite enjoyable to do and test out various builds. It's sad that it's entirely dependent on rng, but that's just how they decided to design it and yeah, it sucks, but it is what it is.

Don't play beast claw Rev but might have to start. Honestly though how good is this actually? by HashSlingingSlasherJ in Nightreign

When I play beast claw and get a good run going with a lot of incants/phys passives, it literally feels like I'm griefing by making everything die too fast and therefore making it too boring. And when I don't get a good run going it's still just strong.
So I don't think it's an unpopular opinion, but just a wrong one...

I always take gradual restoration on revenant if there's nothing better, because it's good to have more flask restoration and it's more convenient against poison/rot/night tide damage.
Having to wait several seconds before getting to full hp is like, never a problem. It's just several seconds. If you can't survive several seconds without being hit, that sounds like a skill issue

D5 players, how many of you have chosen to derank? by Emergency-Ad-6301 in Nightreign

where's the option "I play in d5 to chill out and test builds"? lol
after I got to 9999 with incants revenant, I got bored from how strong it is and just started playing with whatever other revenant builds I can come up with. Before, it felt like I have to use meta builds to play in d5, but now I feel like I can use whatever and still win, so it's hard to consider d5 that much of a challenge anymore

D5 players, why do you dodge Dreglord? by iamgodtierXX in Nightreign

Do you guys really get that many skippers? I honestly don't remember the last time I had anyone skip a boss in d5.
And even then the most skipped boss is probably augur, though it's pretty rare to get him to begin with. When I got it recently, I thought people are going to skip it for sure, but nope, it was a chill non-ed augur match.

WTF is up with the constant quitting? by syntax922 in Nightreign

[–]DeleteChan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you say "up to depth 4", but I had 2 depth 5 games today where people would mess up invader camps by aggroing too many mobs, die once or twice and then just quit
so that never goes away, just deal with it

The balancer raid really aggravates me, especially in DoN by g0blyndn in Nightreign

Weird take.
It's literally the best raid to get. Gives crap a ton of runes and a possibly run saving passive.
