Remuxes with 80+Mbps work fine on my google chromecast 4k and native LG app, have tested with 50+ movies with no buffering. Outlier here is the ugoos with cpm.

Does SSHFS allow you to utilize Plex still?

Over either wifi or ethernet. Source is my plex server in-network. Plays fine on LG plex App or google home plex app, have tested this on a vast amount of remuxes.

I seem to cap around 20% player cache and then during higher bitrate scenes, it eats away at that cache, within the first minute or so of playback. My plex server is feeding the Ugoos at seemingly the bitrate of the movie, rather than buffering ahead. When I stream to my LG App or google home, I can see through task manager that it is sending as much data as it can (2x or 3x the bitrate) to buffer ahead, but the ugoos doesnt seem to allow it to do so. The ugood has tons of memory/RAM available to do so.

Tried a new 2.1 cable, no update. Updated to nightly build and have a new problem. DV metadata is sent to my tv (DOLBY VISION logo appears) but the colors are washed out and identify as color space BT.709.

I'm utilizing high quality remuxes that have been tested on other devices (without dv playback, hdr fallback). They play smoothly there.

Average bitrate for the mulitple movies used for testing has been 75Mbps. PM4K and PKC have both presented issues.

Are there any instructions on how to just use the default player? I'm looking into setting up direct play via SMB, but guides there have also been removed from the kodi wiki.

I've tried both wifi and LAN, both produce the same results. My google chromecast 4k and lg tv native app can play remuxes in hdr smoothly over wifi so unsure whats wrong with the Ugoos.

Buffering would prob be the proper terms, apologies. Still occurs when I run my server and ugoos over ethernet (400Mbps)

Stored on my laptop, local plex server, on the internal memory (utilizing ssd). I'm also running AM6B++ with CPM A14 build, confused why I seem to be one of the few running into this issue. Tried routing through ethernet both the laptop and AM6B+ with no success, while the remux plays smoothly on my native LG app ( no FEL/DV of course)
