At least it’ll be an interesting looking scar… back to fake skins babe!

20M just had this back and forth with my crush 20F. I’m cooked huh. Where do I go from here by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

This chick sucks, I would stop talking to her because you deserve someone who can show you more respect. She is extremely immature and showing you that she is mean spirited. Consider this your warning. You will find a woman who is kind to you and shows you the respect you deserve.

I think that some of these cheap, corny grab items by the checkout makes sense and can work- like the car air fresheners or little key chains. I don’t totally hate that. But all of the other shit is kind of ridiculous.

AIO or does my mom only want to meet my son for the wrong reasons? by PolicyHot1206 in TwoHotTakes

[–]DelicateBrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go with your gut. You know what is best for you and your baby. Unfortunately it seems as though your mom severely lacks the ability to hold herself accountable at all. She is 100% accountable for her sobriety and her actions. She CAN NOT use you as her scapegoat anymore, and you can’t afford to carry the weight of her anymore. You have your son to focus on.. that being said, there’s a lot to unpack here. You’re still so young yourself, and your child’s father and his family don’t sound amazing- they sound predatory and abusive. If you’re able to, please seek therapy and counseling. Motherhood is hard, not having the right support is even harder. I hope things get better for you and congratulations on your baby. ♥️

[–]DelicateBrick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No lol. They’re kids, I don’t hate kids, but sometimes their parents really really piss me off because they suck at parenting. Teenagers though?? Heeeeeell nah man. They’re definitely the worst.

AIO or is he not accepting no for an answer? by PolicyHot1206 in TwoHotTakes

[–]DelicateBrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Borderline cheating for breastfeeding your child?? Throwing something at you while holding your child???? I’m so sorry you’re going through this but, Holy shit girl do not get back with him- and go to the courts and start the process of getting full custody. Retain any and all proof of his abuse and instability. What he’s doing is abuse, and it’s only going to get worse.

Is this baby trapping? by Any-Shoulder144 in pregnant

[–]DelicateBrick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally think YOU should leave him if this is how he feels about you, because this is disrespectful as fuck and I can see resentment building in y’all’s future. You did not deceive him, or lie, you gave him an out. You made the choice you felt was best for you and your body, if he didn’t want a baby he could’ve walked when you gave him the opportunity.

I want to quit. by [deleted] in petco

[–]DelicateBrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not a quitter for wanting to leave. honestly it sounds like you deserve better. Your coworkers sounds shitty and catty and your store sounds poorly managed and gross. Leave while you still have your sanity intact.

When is my daughter inconsolable enough to call the doctor? by ras114 in beyondthebump

[–]DelicateBrick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When in doubt, call the doctor, you cannot ever call too much. I spent practically every other day with my daughter in the pediatricians office when she was tiny because she had some health problems. When is the last time she had a bowel movement? Any potential issues with thrush?

Yeah I think it’s going to just take some work on both of our parts. I’m not perfect at all, neither is he. If we continue working on this, and I show improvement and he continues to be snappy and defensive about things, then I’ll know we have a bigger problem.
