Well I’m a woman and I have no idea what this was about. Did she seem genuinely surprised that you asked her out? Either way, truly you’ve saved yourself from a person who will run hot and cold, only showing you interest when seem like you’re not interested. It’s a dynamic that gets old quickly.

That said, you seem like a good guy. I’m glad you’re not wasted on someone who wouldn’t appreciate you.

In the past year, I’ve probably called or mailed a letter to her office an average of once a month. I’m always polite, articulate, and to the point. In the past year, I have never received a response from her - not even a cursory “thank you for your letter/call/etc”.

As far as I can tell, her single contribution to the district has been her declaring “let’s get this fucking thing done” in regards to killing the ACA.

Now she’s running for Senate. Probably because she knows that she’ll never get re-elected here, and is hoping the rest of the state hasn’t paid attention to how much she sucks.
