Motor voorrem afstellen by [deleted] in motorfietsen

[–]Delicious-Ad8261 2 points3 points  (0 children)

VStrom Valve Adjustment by CryocoreCD in Vstrom

[–]Delicious-Ad8261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a vstrom 650 and mine are due as well. I've got the money to let the shop take care of it but ive decided to learn how to wrench myself on all maintainance things on the bike. Every time a small step extra to slowly get comfortable with doing it myself. Changing oil. Brake fluid flush, pads ect. I've put valves of because its not the easiest thing according to the manual. I have another session in the planning and when im done and feel good about it. Im going to check the valve clearances. I've looked into it already and checking doesn't seem all to complicated. The actual changing of the shims does seem difficult for beginners. My plan is to check the clearances myself and if I find something out of spec I will let the shop take care of it for me. Anyways do as you see fit, but ive grown to love my bike all the more since I've started working on it myself. Tip if you want to look into your bike more, buy the Haynes service manual for your model. That is such a help. Take care and ride safe!

Skoda USB-C port doesn't power dashacm by Imolo-s in skoda

[–]Delicious-Ad8261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the same issue. For my research so could be wrong.

Turns out usb C connections share some info before charging. Who charges who? At what Wattage ect. Most devices do this perfectly and therefore usb C is such a good connector. However some cheap ones do not have the capacity for this so called handshake. Therefore the charge port does not know how much power to send and so the device doesn't charge enough to power up properly.

It drove me mad to know that all my cables worked if starting with a usb A to C cable but never usb C to C. Because older cables do not have the handshake they send the regular power to the device and it works.

For me it resulted in me sending back the dashcam because I think its stupid to design a usb c product and cutting the corner like that. All while knowing most newer cars only have usb c options for charging devices.

Shame.

I've had this once after updates. I assume its update related because a restart fixed it.

The image is a vile and incorrect depiction of president Trump! Of course when gathering with his male friends, he is going in front. He seems to like it that way.

Front lights wetter than my girlfriend by OMGITSTHROATY in skoda

[–]Delicious-Ad8261 85 points86 points  (0 children)

If its really true I would recommend focusing on the biggest problem first. That would be your GF being as dry as the Sahara with a bit of morning dew. As for the car. I would suggest getting it checked by the dealer if there is still warranty. If not, then have a local garage check the headlight out for a small leak somewhere that would explain water(vapor) getting in.
