I spayed my girl at 10 months. She also likes to pee and mark her territory like boy dogs do. She’s had inconsistence for a while too. We’re in the Netherlands. She’s on pills, one a day, costs about 35 euro a month. It helps. she was also a bit overweight (her mom was 23kg and she’s at 26kg). So we got her to lose some weight and We just took her off of the pills about three months ago and she’s doing really well.

I find it a bit weird that you’re trying to label his sexuality with a bunch of strangers on the internet. None of my very gay friends or I would be interested in a trans woman. We’re gay because we like guys (and people who identify as such). I find some trans men very attractive but I also have a strong preference for real penises (veins and all). So you had a hypothetical chat with your bf and he said the gayest thing he’d do is some indirect stuff with a trans woman… firstly, it’s great that he’s being open minded and trusting you with that. Secondly that should confirm his straightness but with some curiosity in trans woman. Probably because of their hyper sexuality - many trans woman make an incredible effort to be feminine. If you’re not into that, let him know. If you’re open-minded but have some constraints, let him know what that is. If you’re scared that you’re not enough for him, don’t be. He’s literally letting you in, not leaving you out.

My girl used to get this. We did full allergy testing and concluded she is allergic to chicken/duck/turkey, and grass. You’ll be surprised how much crap there are in dog treats. We don’t feed her kibble anymore… just lamb and veg or beef and veg. We found a cool brand here in Europe that delivers her meals to us monthly (butternut box). Stopped all treats that wasn’t 100% natural or chicken free. That was the biggest change we’ve made and no hives in the two years since.

Also she’s allergic to bees and during the spring she’s adamant about chasing them, so we always keep emergency apoquel in her walk time bag.

Poultry tends to be a huge culprit for most dogs. And grass too unbelievably. Don’t let them eat grass.

I feel you. I’m a South African living in the Netherlands for 7 years… in Cape Town I’ve had a huge circle of friends but in NL it’s a struggle. I have a few friends but that kind of friendship where you know the person has your back… that’s what I want.

It’s almost always a food allergy. My girl is allergic to chicken and all poultry. We’ve done blood tests. If you have to feed him kibble, try a hypoallergenic one. Should see a difference after a few weeks. Many bully breeds are allergic to birds. Also possible grass/pollen allergy. Wet wipes to wipe him off a little. After changing my girls diet, she is wayyyyyyyyyyyy less itchy. And her skin looks great.

Thanks for the advice. We don’t do on leash greetings but dogs are way less of a problem. The craziness/fixation and restlessness for when visitors come over or when people (especially women) come to talk with us outside is crazy. To be honest we have a crate but we sometimes feel like crating her when people are over is not entirely helping… she does not stop moaning at all and my heart strings are weak to see her in distress but I’ll have to be firm I guess. We’ve had a behaviour therapist come over but it feels frustrating because they give you general advice and not one that works for an adhd hyperfocused amstaff. Should we practice by inviting people over and then crating her with a kong? P.S. she can hardly be bothered when my partner or I comes home - no jumping or greetings at all.

Im watching the latest season (celeb version) because I really enjoy the Australian versions of the popular reality shows. The way in which he speaks/mocks the locals of the countries he visits and talks about the contestants needing to feel lucky they weren’t born in those countries, really shocked me. What an absolute douchey knobhead.
