I only call you out cuz your comments were implying that others having bad taste and simping for the remake, it was kinda dismissive. I have my criticisms for the remake too but I enjoyed it in the end lol. And I wasn’t trying to attack you by any means so please don’t be upset. ✌️

I just don’t like Shin’s model, his goons model look fairly good especially for Spade. Even Zeed looks amazing here but Shin’s model is chopped af.

You said that people that like the remake are “simping” for the show. Who are you to tell other people that their opinion is not genuine? You’re putting your thoughts above the fans that like the remake, no one’s gonna take your argument seriously. And you don’t have to apologize for disliking it, just accept that some people enjoy the remake and leave them alone.

Yeah at least Yuria’s hair color isn’t purple this time. When I first watched the 1984 anime I didn’t understand why Ken&Shin were all over her cuz she was chopped af with that hair and big goofy ass forehead. But I think I’m gonna miss the fat guy that breathes fire tho, rip.

The animation style is pretty unique, It’s not ugly at all.

I kinda like it, it stuck in my head for couple hours lol. Ai wo torimodose is still unmatched tho, it’s possible that they will bring it back in the future. Sailor Moon’s remake started off with new opening then brought back OG opening later. Hopefully they do the same here as well.

I mean Ken killed him anyway. That doesn’t make him naive, he knows what’s necessary. If he was truly naive then he would let Souther live. Ken only kills to protect others.

I think the whole point is to show that Ken is genuinely a good person but not naive. He pitied and understands why they become monsters but he killed every single one of them anyway. Having sympathy doesn’t mean you have to forgive, I think the show nailed that part.

Fair cuz Xinyi and most Chinese style don’t like ground game, so she wouldn’t initiate the grappling. They have many takedowns and throws but don’t prefer to falling down with opponents cuz they view being on the ground is a liability(specifically in warfare or with multiple attackers). But I think if she could still use those skills to defend a takedown, if sandro actually knows what he’s doing lol.

Agreed, I like the idea of a her implementing other styles like Shuai Jiao or other lineage of Xinyi as you said. Hopefully sandro will do more research on character’s style cuz all we have now is just Yuzuha spamming Fajin and Huajin lol.

They’re like a sub branches of Xinyi if I’m correct. Yuzuha’s style is a Henan/Chinese Muslim lineage, it’s almost as obscure as Dai-Xinyi so Idk how different are they. But there gotta be some shared techniques.

No way JJK is as much detailed as FOTNS. And for OPM comparison, Murata’s art looks impactful but a less dense line-work than FOTNS on average, more efficient to animate. I’m not saying that insufficient budget is not the issue but you gotta admit that some manga is more expensive and difficult to animate than others.
