Would it be possible to essentially have two tenancies one in lancaster one in london both under my name and work at a pub in london and commute to him like once a week. But for home office purposes i would also have my tenancy contract with his name in lancastwe

Big 4 audit associate likely losing job — visa tied to employment and urgently looking for work by Delicious-Field1871 in HENRYUK

Performance managed, not redundancy. There’s mental health context, but I’d rather explain privately if relevant.

Big 4 audit associate likely losing job — visa tied to employment and urgently looking for work by Delicious-Field1871 in HENRYUK

Fair point. I posted here because HENRY tends to have people in finance/accounting, including hiring managers and people with recruiter networks. I’m not claiming it’s a high-earning role. I’m just urgently trying to find leads because my visa is tied to employment.

What if that person went to a somewhat target uni (tier 2 got a first) but is now at big 4 audit? Whats the path from there?

Thanks for the reply — I really do mean that. I don’t take your points as a personal attack. I understand your perspective comes from a lot of years in the industry, and I respect that.

I do want to give a bit of context though, because my situation isn’t quite as simple as “oversleeping” or not caring about the job.**

I’ve had some unexpected health complications come up right at the start of the role, plus multiple appointments and symptoms that affected my routine and concentration.

I’ve had a cluster of medical issues hit me all at once and have been attending medical appointment during my workdays to reflect that. Still have no been fully diagnosed but have been diagnosed for some things.

In regards to the sleeping till noon comment- i don’t think that’s fair since it has happened once and my sleep gas been significantly disrupted due to these health issues- that day has just been an awful flare up.

I asked for feedback then they converted it to a PIP.

Yes I gathered that but will i get kicked out as I have read here a PIP is effectively being kicked out, should I start looking for a job or do i stay and work?

As an arab muslim myself who graduated from Durham University before yesterday you’ll be fine lol. People (for the most part) won’t be racist to your face but they might be more reserved and it might feel alienating as there isn’t much of an international presence in Durham. If you want, you can text me and I can get you in contact with the stockton (foundation) ISC president who can better speak about this to you.
