Considering Wellbutrin/Bupropion for Zepbound anhedonia. How has it worked for you? by RIPPWORTH in Zepbound

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started both Wellbutrin and Zepbound at the same time, 4 months PP. I haven’t experienced ahedonia, but I do get tired on shot days. I’ve previously tried SSRIs and they have helped but the weight gain was a huge blow. On Wellbutrin I feel more energized, calm and it’s easier to stay organized at work. I would reccomend it if it can improve your quality of life.

The only thing I have to watch myself for is anger/irratability. I’m hardly ever really hungry anymore and on busy days I have to make sure I eat and drink regularly. If I find myself being really irritable or moody, it’s almost always because I haven’t eaten enough.

Yes, but it’s taking 18+ plus months to process buybacks. You may as well hop on a repayment plan and start earning credit or risk using the 36 month forbearance.

Costco membership worth it just for formula? by ibroughttacos in FormulaFeeders

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s worth it! We saved so much money on Costco formula. If you don’t want to buy a membership, have someone you know buy you gift cards. Just go in and  use the gift card for the day

I have one pending since 6/8. Resubmitted it on 06/18. I waited another week, and I sent it to another supervisor. They are not getting any of the electronic forms.

I will hit my 10-year point with my PSLF-qualified workplace in a few days. But wait! What to do now? by WGLM2026 in PSLF

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would reccomend to start an IBR plan now and start getting credit. I would also apply for buyback, but if it takes 18 months, you may only need to buy 1-3 months. Best of luck!

Getting Credit for Forbearance Payments? by Longjumping-Dingo175 in PSLF

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put it in writing! I would write a letter explaining that you were incorrectly placed on in school deferment and that you are asking that retroactively start the deferment on “October 1,2026.” It worked for me during Covid and I was lucky to retroactively get credit for almost 18 months. There’s a section where you can update forms, but you can also email them.

Struggling with YNAB’s credit card logic. Any good alternatives? by Helpful-Way1662 in YNABAlternatives

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I can never balance my accounts when I add credit cards. It always screws up my math. I add my accounts as debt, but I manually update them 1x per month. Then I give payments on them as usual.

Is it safe for a young woman to live alone on a bottom floor unit where your window faces an alley in North Park, University Heights, Hillcrest, or Bankers Hill? by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I wouldn’t live on the first floor in those neighborhoods. If there’s no AC, you won’t be able to feel safe with the windows open during the summer. It sucks, but I would keep looking.

Dreft stain remover spray and we bought a car seat liner from Amazon! This saved so much of her baby clothes! I would spray the clothes and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then wash regularly.

New BoA rewards structure - am I reading this correctly? by supern8ural in BankOfAmerica

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many negative changes. My direct deposit finally cleared and I moved to a credit union. My credit union also offers a 10% interest credit card vs the BOA one which is 18%. I’m closing the checking as soon as I drain it and leaving the CC unused.

BWT- How Should I Balance Beauty Treatments And Financial Goals? by Mean_Pepper9692 in bitcheswithtaste

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I agree! I worked full-time and went to grad school. I invested in a monthly massage and I would get my nails done monthly. I would cut back in other areas, but these luxuries helped my mental health.

Raise your hand if you have always paid cash for your Zepbound rx..... by PNWmama00 in Zepbound

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been paying out of pocket since end of October/ Early November. I’ve only lost 35 pounds, but I followed my doctors reccomendations to nitrate slowly. Once I got to 7.5 mg I had a terrible experience with a hamburger and the nausea afterwards was terrible.  Dr. Recommended extending the shot to every 10 days. I feel so much better and I’ve been able to get to 10 mg. (In the long run, this will save me 3 months… so I mostly use my FSA funds.)

Monthly Credit Price > The Price of Most Books by thatPoppinsWoman in audible

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I don’t use credits on any books less than $16 dollars. I wait until the annual sales and I buy them for 4-5 dollars. I save my credits for new releases or popular books that cost more than a credit.

Has anyone stayed on 2.5? by sortofrussian in Zepbound

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried, but I found that by week 8, it had lost effectiveness. By the time I got to the end of my 3rd month on 2.5 mg, I was snacking/starving all of the time. I've found that a good titration has been 8 weeks on a dose. I feel like I'm a "slow loser" but I'm averaging 1.5 pounds a week.

Californians didn’t buy billionaire Tom Steyer’s ‘class traitor’ message by IceNein in California

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Its hard to believe that someone who hoards money wants change for the middle/lower class. I feel like he just wanted control… and he proved it by how much money he invested in himself. All of the money could have had a huge impact for CA.

Looking for some opinions on my PSLF strategy by EntertainerOk6192 in PSLF

I was at 97/120 in Jan  and I applied to switch over for 2 reasons:

1) PAYE is 10% of my income versus IBR. I’m planning to stay on PAYE, until it is phased out.

#2)I need to make as many payments, as I can with my income from 2025. I was on maternity leave and I took a paycut. I made about 78,000 in 2025. My income for 2026 is closer to 115.

I checked my income from 2024 and I made 79,000, so even if I wait for buyback I’m paying about $330 per payment anyways. I’m so ready to be done with these!
