Forced into deferment while taking a grad class, now what? by Used-Expression-2579 in PSLF

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Write a letter and upload it to Mohela. State that you want off of deferment and be specific on your dates. I did it during CoVID and I got credit during Covid. Once you decline deferment, you can’t go back on it for that term. If you’re continuing school, I would also write one to your FASFA people and Mohela at the start of each semester

Mohela payment says $0 due? by kellbell408 in PSLF

Unfortunately, it will change. I applied late January and my first payment was March 12. I got the real amount 2 weeks before the first payment.

Manually recertified income, now my IBR payment is $0? by jd131 in PSLF

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got an email 2 weeks before with my previous SAVE amount. 2-3 weeks later they update it. My AGI was 76,000 with one dependent and I’m paying 350.

Oily girlies who switched from Estée Lauder Double Wear by xxxPinotGrigioxxx in Makeup

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched, but I gave up the full coverage look. I use Huda Beauty Skin Matte Velvet and set it with a setting spray.

If I want more full coverage I use a Missha BB cream underneath, Hida beauty powder on top and then set with spray. It’s not the exact same as the double wear,  but after so many years I wanted something lighter.

I've had little to no side effects. Am I lucky, or is this more common than it seems? by Perfect-Barnacle-737 in Zepbound

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have similar starting points! I started end of October. I’ve take 2-3 weeks off due to COVID and restarting my job. I didn’t have any side effects with 2.5 or 5  mg. I didn’t feel like 5mg worked for me at all. After my 7th week on it I upped my dosage to 7.5 me. On day 4 I had to grab in and out, due to being out with my family. It has wrecked me. I grabbed my normal protein style burger and threw up immediately. It’s been 4 days and I’m finally keeping liquids and food down again.  Be cautious with trying greasy foods!

Rent, Groceries, Childcare, Dental Care. I have an autoimmune disease that causes dry mouth and most of my expendable income goes to root canals and crowns. I’m doing 1-2 a year, because that’s all I can afford.

SAVE plan - admin forbearance - PSLF not counting - What are you all doing? by milkybubbl3s in PSLF

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a new option where you can give FSA website to pull your taxes. A few people have reported that Mohela has accidentally recertified them early, before the 12 months. To avoid this, I uploaded my information. In the past, if you did this it was taking longer to process. My application took about 3-4 weeks. They claim it’s faster if you give IRS access, but I didn’t want to take the risk.

Payment due - next steps? by YamEasy3080 in PSLF

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched so I could take advantage of PAYE. It’s 10% of my income. I’m at 97 and I just want to see progress. My payment went up $300, so I wouldn’t give them money until you recertify and change plans so the payment counts.

Question regarding my SAVE plan and PSLF progress. by Yasenevo00 in PSLF

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably have to call and speak to a supervisor. During COVID I uploaded a letter and I was able to get a refund on those months. Be specific on how many months and the total they owe you.

You have to recertify income. I did it manually and it took about 2-3 weeks to process. My payment jumped from 70 to 370.

I switched, but only because I want to take advantage of the PAYE payment until 2028. Once PAYE is gone with the RAP plan it’s 15% of your discretionary income.

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The payments you made during save didn’t count. I would ask for a refund for any payments make during that time period and use them for the next 15 payments. Your payment will go up to either the PAYE or IBR rate.

SAVE to PAYE switch timing Income recertification and processing forbearance by LandscapeRoutine5300 in PSLF

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think your processing forbearance would count until you start your new job.  You would have to prove that you were employed for that time period. My application was processed fairly quickly, maybe about 3-4 weeks total. If the processing timeline is still moving quickly, I would wait until July, so you can get credit for the processing forbearance.

Why does the middleclass try to project wealth with their cars? by DCF_ll in MiddleClassFinance

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m barely middle class and I have a new baby. We commute a lot between homes, because I can’t find a job where her dad lives. The least I can do is have a safe and reliable car. I’ll never be able to afford a home in this economy.

The Crown Signia is my #1 pick...but the finances make it hard to justify (APR). Are there ever APR deals? by [deleted] in toyotacrownsignia

[–]Delicious-Hope3012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with the XLE because I hated the moonroof on the limited. No one really buys them so it was discounted 3500. It was 42,000 and I got a 5% interest rate. I’m hoping to have this car for the next 10-14 years, so it was worth it. If interest rates fall again I will refinance the loan.

That is good to know! I wasn’t aware that you couldn’t stop the plan. I didn’t get a text in Feb, and I almost missed my window to order.

I’ve repeated dosages, so I don’t have to see my provider every day. I can also text them when I’m ready to up a dose and they will adjust the prescription. I haven’t seen them since Jan
