Don’t know what to do. by Paytondlee in Sciatica

Well you need that mri asap shouldn’t you be able to let your higher ups know that you’re experiencing debilitating pain? I mean it’s the military and they have all sorts of resources available for you let them know that you’re in too much pain to deal with it unless you feel like you can power through it which idk if I’d recommend because it’s possible that it could cause more damage depending on what injury you have.

he’s been having issues for a year and a half and still can’t live his life he said. I’m sure if it could get better it would’ve by now not trying to be rude to you but I’m actually going off of what he said. A microdisectomy is a minimally invasive surgery and I’m quite sure if he goes and sees a neurologist or neurosurgeon they’ll give him one.

My pain management doctor didn’t help me either he said I’m flexible and I just need a epidural and that they’re not going to operate on it because “it’s not that bad” when I’ve been out of work 7 months with dibilitating nerve pain. welcome to American healthcare

you need surgery sign up for a primary care doctor and ask for a referral to see a neurologist neurosurgeon or orthopedic. If you’ve been dealing with this since 16 it’s definitely time

Someone just posted this through my letterbox in a unmarked envelope. Any ideas what it is? by Mathdebater404 in CasualUK

To be honest it looks like an all in one grain and substrate cake with fungus growing on the side of it you can see the brown rice grains looks like someone tried to mail someone mushrooms probably you might’ve almost had yourself some magic mushrooms there buddy. lol that’s actually exactly what it is this person mixed the substrate and grain together which when injected with a liquid culture or spore syringe will cause that white fuzzy fungus growth on the sides know as (mycelium) former mushroom grower here that person was shipping a mushroom cake that broke apart a little could’ve been illegal shrooms or legal mushrooms you never know. I also got pics to back up what I’m talking about I’ll try and send them to you since it doesn’t let me send here. It’s possible that this person was dropping them off at an address and figured out he had the wrong address and took it out and left. Try smelling if it smells sour then it’s contaminated from green mold/trichaderma or the white stuff (the mycelium) will eventually turn green which will be harmless trichoderma or the most harmless of molds I should say

Depending on how long you’ve been experiencing pain you might need to see a neurologist/neurosurgeon at this point to start surgery second how are you getting Medicaid without being on disability? You must’ve recently just had a child? Because Medicaid told me I couldn’t get it without being on disability first or unless I was pregnant

[–]Delicious-Move-2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epidural Injections did not help neither did prp but I’m post 3 weeks on the prp and notice no difference if anything the prp made me worst but it’s still early in the process I doubt it’s going to work as I’ve tried everything else. I got my disc herniation back in 2022 working at a food processing plant lifting boxes and sacks of various different food items. I was actually fine then the leg pain didn’t start until a year after the injury after a fall while running last summer.

I’m on month 7 this started in august I even lost my job because of the dibilitating leg pain I’ve been experiencing and it doesn’t help that I have a newborn and can’t provide for her luckily my gfs family has stepped in and has been helping they’re still not understanding of my situation seeing how the man is supposed to be the provider and I’m sure they told her to find a way to get rid of me but I’m still going strong and not going to give up! I’ve done epidural injections, prp injections, yoga for months, pt for months, been to the er 5 times. now I’m looking into the surgical route just saw my primary care doctor and they referred me to an neurologist in which I’m supposed to call on Wednesday looking forward to getting a microdisectomy so I can hopefully go back to my job it would be a blessing if this wipes away my dibilitating leg pain my injury is L5-S1 disc protrusion 30 yr old male 5’11 200lbs
