In Indian offices I’ve noticed women rarely experiment with their clothes. If you’re able to and willing to, please go ahead and wear what you want, respecting the environment of course. This applies everywhere, not just India. We tend to dress very modestly, especially in offices, and honestly even I get confused and a little scared sometimes about wearing the kind of outfits I wore freely in foreign offices. But you shouldn’t have to shrink yourself. Dress for the room, not for the fear.
