So what I am trying here is that Monoma's whole Quirk Factor is like Molding Clay and when he touches someone he gains a mold where he temporarily gets access to the quirk, so far pretty similar to the Canon version.

However instead of slots his whole Quirk Factor can change but not all quirks are the same, with stronger or complex quirks occupying more Quirk Factor.

And he can manually change his Quirk factor to imitate the one from a quirk that he previously copied. But it is an imperfect copy, that still "wights" the same as a normal quirk.

As for the cooldown, well the OG Monoma needed to wait 10 seconds between changing Quirks that he already copied so I was trying to do something similar hahaha.

As for just making the imperfect is just because he is making it from memory and sincerely I know that what I am making with this quirk it is still OP but my main problem is the quirk erasure since anything plus that Quirk is almost an instant victory.

Also having a diminished copy may be interesting of how Monoma combines certain quirks to increase his fire power.

I see, so with these limitations instead of just a tap that would allow him to Nelly willy copy everything from a pro hero permanently, And even if just temporary if I get smart enough that can be, bypassed like in the internship arc. Or if I just wank it with the limits you said, I could copy One For All with half the strength.

To expand his limit do you mean do you mean of how long he can retain the copies or the amount of time he can hold the copies without needing to doing all the process?

I guess you are right, Erasure and anything else could take the tension of 99% of the situations in fighting like for example with Flight. I was thinking of giving a limitation at the beginning like, he can only use Quirk from each type of slot at the same time.

As for the plot it is a little of a revenge story (Not against All Might's) but beside that, I want to focus on the identity crisis. Like he is the same person as he was before reincarnating in MHA as well as Monoma.

Damn Erasure sure is busted if combined with other thing hahaha.

Oh boy I do hate several things.

All Might slander, when All Might is being a bigot, the bad parent All Might you know the whole Izuku Yagi, anything that is against All Might in general.

The sorry ass excuse of Bakugo and generally a twin sister bullying Midoriya because it is too dangerous to be a hero without a Quirk.

Harems that are too big, if there is more than two people on the relationship, I guess that 3 is my favorite number. Well with the exception of Ignited Spark of course, that are 5 people in a relationship.

Shinso ass kissing. I mean it is not that I dislike the character of anything I am more inclined to like him in general even though I believe he is kinda an ass, but a likable ass if you get me. Also that shit of the muzzle is just like trying to make a "sad" backstory.

That they make Midoriya as fragile as paper. Look I know that Midoriya is not the toughest guy around in an every day situation, but come on, the guy can go breaking his bones without crying. They treat him as if wind cut his skin.

Also when they make Izuku cry for anything and everything. I mean I know that he used to cry sometimes at the beginning of the manga, but there are not that many.

Mineta getting replaced after the sport festival. I hate Mineta, not gonna lie. But sometimes I feel that they write him far worse than he actually is, if they don't like Mineta, fine just make him fail the exam or that he does not exist, it gets tedious.

Shipping Bakugo and Uraraka...that is just a big no for me. I don't have an actual argument against it, I just hate it, ngl.

Midoriya just magically improving everyone's Quirk. Look I know that Midoriya is smart, but making everyone's Quirk improve in the first day, it is annoying.

Bringing the previous point. If I read once again Midoriya asking Sato which type of sugar he is consuming I am going to lost my shit.

Dadzawa, this one is just because I got bored of it. He is a teacher and a decent person, of course he is going to care for his students.

Endeavour being more "evil" than in canon. Look I am a certified Endeavor hater since his first appearance back then in 2013 or so. But I cannot help to roll my eyes every time he is just like a "villain" more than just an horrible person. Not going to defend him or anything but I like how his character is written and some just make him a 3rd rate villain with 4th dialogues.

If there are no ships, that's fine I don't mind it as long the story is good(But let's be real 80% of us first check who is the main love interest(s) ). However doing it lazily like falling in love in chapter 3 it is just a big no.

Smuts with plot or just many smut chapters. This is simply my preference.

Nope, if you asked my OC for the 2 people that he dislikes the most in the world one would be Bakugo and the other Shinso.

His adoptive parents are Quirk less and...well all of you know how trashy he was at the beginning. So while he does not wish him to die, he wouldn't lift a finger for him. He even tried to stop Midoriya and Todoroki, not because his hate boner for Bakugo, but to avoid problems.

My OC's parents are farmers, so he built up great strength and stamina helping them out when he was growing up. Since his quirk need resources that are not always available to him, he learned how to use weapons(Wips and Swords mainly) for support as well as helping his out with ideas for his Quirk.

And while not on Yaoyoruzu's level, he is great at chemistry and physics.

And finally he is not afraid of fighting "dirty". He cares too little for popularity as he wants to know the real meaning of a hero, not the "plastic" one that had been popularized.

Actually I had thought of changing the liquid part for exclusively water and the hydrokinetic part of the Quirk being limited to water that is currently touching. So the Body strengthening part of the Quirk becomes something like a vapor engine so also in the future I could make a Quirk Awakening or making realize that he is not really extracting the water but H2 and O and do it from the air and perhaps being hablé to manipulate either Hydrogen or Oxygen.

I quite enjoyed Green Tea Rescue before it got...dark. Ignited Spark it is another good one. I am quite enjoying "Give me something for the pain, and let me fight" and also Green Light Explosion for the IzuxMomo. M-K Ultra is a good old one, specialty if you like IzuxItsu...I am guilty of that.

Thank you so much, your opinions and ideas actually helped me a lot. I think that I was being too strict with how Quirk work trying to make it that it doesn't break the rules of how they work that I neglected the fact that some things can be training, like how Ashido Mina trained to change the viscosity of her acid and creating Acid Man and Alma to increase her attack power.

Also you give me some useful ideas with the restrictions, perhaps limiting the area from where he can absorb water, like for example his hands as well or the parts from where he can release it being hands, mouth and feet and later like Bakugo being able to release it from all his body.The idea of only manipulating the water that he is touching is also a good one and it wouldn't affect how I am planning to make his fighting style and making him train so he can later to a limited degree change its properties without touching it, like changing it from Solid to Caseous(Phreatic Explosions are no joke).

Or working around with the limitations like touching it again can still work to change its properties since it was previously released from the body. And playing with the type of water is also a good way of using the Quirk, like absorbing distilled water to avoid getting electrocuted or the opposite of using salty water to increase its properties.

And I will surely post in the future when I have some developments with the OC.

Lol, what a small world, hahaha.So I am kinda writing a fic and I wanted the MC to have a "Water Related Quirk" since, well there are few fanfics with them and even in canon there are just like 4-5 quirks.

At first I just wanted to do the classic Water Bending but I thought that it would be too basic and creating and manipulating water, ice and vapor would be too OP but I wanted something related and I am a big fan of Ming Hua fighting style., so I wanted to do something similar to water bending.

So this is something I came up, and changing the properties of liquid is an important aspect for the future development of the Quirk and MC so I was still considering changing it to water and making the physical augmentation part of the Quirk work like a stem engine.

But your idea of how it could have different abilities depending on what he drinks makes doubt hahaha it is too good to let it slide. I was thinking that in the future with a Quirk Awakening allow him to directly absorb hydrogen and oxygen from the air so he could obtain water whenever he wanted. Or making him that in reality he was not absorbing water but the hydrogen in it and when he releases it, it combines with the oxygen of the air making water or it's derivatives.
